Thank you for providing the Dexter part numbers Robert. For the brakes we have the Kit # 23-26-27 which contains both the Left # 23-26 and Right # 23-27 brake assemblies. You might consider upgrading to the Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brakes # 23-468-469 so you will no longer have to adjust the brakes every 3,000 miles. They will self adjust giving you much better brake feel as the pads wear.
For the hub/drum we have the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # K08-426-91. The difference... view full answer...
Hey Rob, sorry to hear about the problems you had with your current hub/drums. The good news is you did order everything you would need and no additional parts would be necessary. The two pieces you pointed out with your yellow arrows do need to come off as they are parts of the old bearings that were destroyed. view full answer...
We have quite a few hubs for a 3,000 lbs axle! It looks like a 2012 Keystone Passport Travel Trailer uses 3,500 lbs axles with an inner bearing item # L68149 and an outer bearing item # L44649. The Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 3,500-lb Axles - 10" Diameter - 5 on 4-1/2 item # 84546UC3 you were looking at would indeed fit your trailer.
If you need to replace the brakes as well you can use either of the parts listed below:

Hey Brian!
The Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 5.2K & 6K Axles # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K comes with a lithium complex, multipurpose grease.
Attached is a chart showing what grease types are compatible with each other. As long as your current grease it compatible with Lithium Complex you'll be good to go - otherwise you'll need to clean all of the grease off prior to installing this hub/drum kit. view full answer...
Hey Dan,
So I'm not quite sure if you are just wanting new hub/drums and electric brakes for your current 2,000 lb Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - Heavy Duty - Long Spindle w/ 4" Lift # ASR2KHDS03, or you want to replace it with the 2,200 lb version which is part # ASR1THDS03.
Either way, I can tell you the exact hub and drum along with electric brakes that you need, as the same hubs and brakes fit both systems. What you will need for either the 2,000 lb or 2,200 lb Axle-Less with... view full answer...
Hey Phil, yes the correct brake assemblies you need are the part # AKEBRK-7L-SA and then the correct hub/drum would be the # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K for your 2011 Cedar Creek. view full answer...
Hey Todd, so the Dexter trailer axle part # 8327820-EB that you referenced has Dexter hub/drums, brake assemblies, and TruRyde bearings. view full answer...
To know what parts your 2015 Haulmark Trailer is going to require I either need to know exactly what parts you currently have or if you can find the axle tag from the manufacturer I can see what parts they installed from the factory. The axle tag is typically on the center of the axle tube and back side of the axle.
The most commonly used size axle is a 3,500lb which would require the following components per axle.
Brake Assemblies # AKEBRK-35-SA qty 1
Hub/Drum # 84546UC3-EZ qty 2

Hey Ty, so you wouldn't lose any clearance when going from a 3,500 lb idler hub to a drum brake setup like the part # AKHD-655-35-K so you'll be okay to do this. You will need brake assemblies as well with the part # AKEBRK-35-SA and you'd be set.
The tire track would be exact same from left to right as well. view full answer...
Hello Eric. The Lippert 3,500 lb axles use standard sizing for the brakes, hubs and bearings. So, the Dexter parts you see on our site are absolutely interchangeable. The Dexter Electric Trailer Brakes that you were looking at will be exactly what you need. We can also hook you up with bearing kits and the 5 on 5 hubs. I recommend the following:
Dexter Electric Trailer Brakes - 10" - Left/Right Hand Assemblies - 3.5K # 23-26-27
Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 3.5K Axles -... view full answer...
Hello Brian, we do offer some parts that will work for your application and will be very similar to the BPH1206EPR kit that you mentioned. Like you said, the 12 x 2-1/2 drums are pretty uncommon, so I would have to recommend going instead with the standard 12 x 2 drums which will be readily available. Take a look at the parts below. Aside from the drum depth specs will be identical.
Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 5,200-lb and 6,000-lb Axles - 6 on 5-1/2 - Pre Greased # 8-201-9UC3-EZ

Hey Rob; thanks for the photos and it was actually the one with the hub number that did it. That's a BD 545 which is an AxleTek 3,500 lb hub and drum like the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-545-35-K.
The 35 on the axle sticker was a good indicator it was a 3,500 lb axle, but the hub number verified it. So you can use that hub and drum, and for a bearing kit use Hub Bearing Kit # BK2-100 or for Timken parts the Timken Bearing Kit # TMK52VR.
Both kits come with the bearings, races,... view full answer...
Hey Lance, thanks for reaching out!
The Dexter 010-036-00 seals cross-reference to our Grease Seals 10-36 # RG06-070 which have the larger 2.250 ID. This is the grease seal kit you've purchased from us in the past.
The Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # 8-201-5UC3-EZ comes with a 10-10 Grease Seal which has the smaller 2.125" ID.
Since it sounds like you need the larger 2.250" ID I recommend using the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # K08-201-98 instead, which is the exact same... view full answer...
Hey Edward, thanks for reaching out!
What you're looking for is the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with E-Z Lube Spindles # 8327834.
This is just the axle tube and spindles so to add brakes and the hub/drums to it you also need the following:
- Nev-R-Adjust Trailer Brakes # 23-464-465 (1 kit per axle)
- Hub/Drum Kit # 8-219-13UC3 (2 per axle) view full answer...
Hey William, since we know your 2016 Wolf Pup 16BHS has 3,500 lb trailer axles the correct hub/drum is the part # AKHD-545-35-K that you referenced and the correct brake assembly set is the part # AKEBRK-35-SA and you'd be set. view full answer...
I understand your confusion Tom, as your LCI4.4K axles are most likely going to have the 10" Lippert Electric Trailer Brakes # LC66WD. Lippert bases their 4.4K axle on a 3,500lb axle platform while most other manufacturers base it on a larger 3" axle tube with stronger components. This is why you are seeing the 12" brake option and as RV manufacturers often change change parts on trailers based on what is available and cost this is why you will see 2 of the same trailers with different... view full answer...
in order to find the correct bearings for your hub, you will need to take apart your current hub assembly and look at the bearings themselves; wipe away the grease and you should be able to see the part number stamped directly on them. If you are unable to find them, you need to use a digital caliper and measure your spindle where the bearings ride, like in the photo I added.
It would also help to know your axle capacity (which should be stamped on the axle itself); and for a 10 inch... view full answer...
Hey Joe, the DeMaxx Disc Brake Kit part # DE82FR will work on your Wesco trailer as long as it has 5,200-6k axle with idler hubs currently. If you are not sure what your trailer has currently go out and check the axle's sticker/tag for it's capacity info and then check the wheel bolt pattern. The hubs you have would need to be idlers currently without a brake drum for this slip on kit to fit.
If you have a hub/drum currently this wouldn't slip onto that setup but you could go with the... view full answer...
