Replacement Bearings, Seals, Hubs For 2021 Riverside Retro 135 With 3,500 lb Axle

Question:

Hi, Im trying to identify an axle on a 2021 Riverside Retro 135 camper. There is a sticker which I can send a photo of with what looks like a model number 35-SB-82-64-33836. There is also a serial number but since I dont know the manufacturer I cant use a lookup site. On the outside of the brake hubs there is a marking of Axle Teknology but I cant find any information on that manufacturer. Im hoping you can help me identify the manufacturer so I can get the specs for any parts Ill need along the way. I can send a picture of the label and/or brake hubs when you respond if that helps. Thanks, Rob

Hey Rob; thanks for the photos and it was actually the one with the hub number that did it. That's a BD 545 which is an AxleTek 3,500 lb hub and drum like the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-545-35-K.

The 35 on the axle sticker was a good indicator it was a 3,500 lb axle, but the hub number verified it. So you can use that hub and drum, and for a bearing kit use Hub Bearing Kit # BK2-100 or for Timken parts the Timken Bearing Kit # TMK52VR.

Both kits come with the bearings, races, and seal needed for one hub (so for both hubs you would need two kits).

Thanks Kyle! I also received a response from Riverside RV in which they told me the axles were manufactured by Liberty Wheel End LLC. The part number is 35-SB-82-64, D3500 HF=82 5-4.5 SC=64 US Leaf Spring. As far as I can tell these are not available to the general public if they are even made anymore. -Rob
