The lug studs on your 2007 T@B Clamshell Travel Trailer should be 1/2" diameter and if this is the case then part # RG01-150 would work well for you. I checked with Thule and they show that the Canyon cargo basket # TH859XT fits the 2015 model year BMW X1 with factory roof rack but no data on the 2016. If the 2016 has the same roof rack as the 2015 then it will fit.

You will still be able to use the hands free lift gate on your 2023 BMW X1 with the Hidden Hitch by Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT54YR.
