Will Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver Fit 2015 X1 M Sport
Question:
Hi, I noticed several different hitch options for the BMW X1 but nothing specified whether the M Sport model rear bumper would work with the install. Could you recommend a towing hitch that will work with the 2015 BMW X1 with sunroof, M Sport edition? The attached photograph is not of my vehicle, but you can see that there isn’t a separate removable portion of the rear bumper like in the installation video for the Draw Tite hitch. Additionally, will the backup sensors get in the way of the install in any way? Thanks,

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75761 will fit your 2015 BMW X1 M Sport since you have the panoramic sunroof. You are correct, there is a difference in the bumper when compared to the installation video, but you will still be able to install the hitch. You won't have any issues with the backup sensors and will be able to disconnect them on the back of the bumper.
I have attached a picture which shows the hitch installed on an X1 with a bumper just like yours for your reference.
