They told me that if you are having a problem with a display being dim, you may have an issue with the ground wire connection. You want to make certain you have a good ground connection, or it can cause issues with the display and function of the controller.

Instead of just doing brake shoes I would recommend replacing the entire assemblies. Typically brake shoes cost close enough to new assemblies it's better to replace them as a whole. Often times if the shoes are worn the assemblies are most likely not in the best shape either so it's better to get all new parts, plus it's a much easier install and for picking out the suitable replacement.

It's very possible that the Saris SuperClamp EX 2 Bike Platform Rack # SA4025F will fit with the spare tire on your 1989 Dodge ram Van.
