I reached out to my contact at Roadmaster because I have not heard of this particular issue happening before with the Automatic Battery Disconnect # RM-766. He said it's possible that something is going on with the switch itself and there is an easy way to find this out for sure.

The Curt Echo In-Line Wireless Brake Controller # C79DR is designed to be plugged in-line with your USCAR connector that pulls power from the 12 volt power pin. It is designed to be used with a standard 7-way and not a commercial 7-way. First thing to try is clean the pins of the 4-way on your Focus and trailer. Most likely it's just a bit of corrosion that needs to be cleaned off that's preventing the circuit from being connected. Typically sandpaper takes care of this the easiest.

There isn't a reset switch on your T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, # 118674. If you aren't getting any power, you will want to check the in line fuse first. When the trailer is connected and you use the turn signal, or any of the lights, there is more power draw on the vehicle system and that might be leading to the blinkers going faster. Also check the main ground for the wiring harness # 118457, just to be sure you do not have a developing ground issue.

If the yellow fuse holder wire from wiring harness # 118549 was pulled out at the battery then it would not have done anything to the converter box. What might have happened is some part of the system when attached to the battery touched something else and melted or burned something but that is speculation.

Does your trailer happen to have LED lights? If so then what is happening is the little bit of power that is on wiring harness # C56138 is enough to dimly light up LED lights. This is because the wiring harness is a powered harness and LED lights draw such little power. We hear about this issue less with the Tekonsha harness # 118548.

I spoke with Roadmaster about your issue with your RoadMaster Even Brake Motor Home Monitor # RM-9410, and they mentioned that if you have already plugged it in an unplugged it and there's still an issue, then there is a fault circuit board issue and the whole unit would need to be replaced.

There are several possible causes for the severe tire wear you are seeing on your Ford Focus. First, if the tow bar is not level with the RVs it can put extra stress (downward force in this case) on the front of the Focus. That extra force can lead to not only tire wear but also potentially damage the tow bar and base plates.

It could be a fuse or a relay that you burnt out in your 2014 F-53 Hurricane Motorhome. I would recommend you check the owners manual of the MH to determine where all of the tow package fuses and relays are and check them. It can be hard to determine if a relay is bad. If you find the relay for the circuit that is not working but are unsure if it is bad the easiest way to test it is to put a good working relay in its place and if the circuit works at that point you know the relay was bad.

The only 2 things the Roadmaster InvisiBrake # RM-8700 has that makes an audible noise is the air compressor and the motorhome monitor that lets you know if the brakes have been activated too long. I spoke with my contact at Roadmaster who confirmed that nothing with their system makes a beeping sound.

We can't have that happening! Let's see what we can do. Roof bike racks such as the Kuat Trio # RU01 are designed to fit roof racks and not specific vehicles. Even if the rack was not touching the spoiler on your 2016 Ford Focus ST with the hatch open the rear bike tire most likely would have.
