I do have an option for you but the factory roof rack on your 2019 Mazda CX-5 is most likely not large enough to carry two kayaks side by side. If you can give me the width of your kayaks and the length of the factory crossbars on your CX-5, I could then confirm this for you. If by chance the length of the factory crossbars on your CX-5 exceeds the width of your two kayaks then you can use the Malone Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs part # MPG154 to secure them but you will need to order two... view full answer...
The Rhino-Rack Universal Pioneer Platform Rack for Crossbars part # RR42115BF will work out well with the Thule SquareBar Evo Roof Rack System which consist of part # TH712200, part # TH460R and part # THKIT3160.
It measures 58-3/16" long x 46-5/8" wide giving you a lot of space to store your gear. view full answer...
For your 2013 Mazda CX-5 you can use trailer wiring harness # 118563. It works for models with or without LED tail lights. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you.
In addition to the hitch # 76138 and the wiring I also recommend etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK4. It comes with a ball mount with a 2-3/4 inch rise/4 inch drop, interchangeable ball set, a hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. If the ball mount does not provide the proper rise or drop to tow the trailer... view full answer...
The etrailer brand # e98902 Class III hitch is a great choice for your 2020 Mazda CX-5.
Finding the necessary rise/drop ball mount is a straightforward process. Measure from the top inside of the receiver tube to the ground. Measure from the underside of the trailer coupler when its jacked up level to the ground (or, you can use 17 inches as an average). Subtract the two numbers and the result is the rise/drop you need. If the receiver tube is taller, you'll use the ballmount in the drop... view full answer...
We can help you out here with a roof rack for your 2017 Mazda CX-5 with a bare roof so you can safely mount your Ikamper Skycamp Mini Roof Top Tent. You don't have to add Mazda's roof rails, you can attach a roof rack to your CX-5's roof, even with the moonroof.
The only thing you won't be able to have is a roof rack that - when your tent is installed - won't interfere with the back hatch opening fully. Based on the measurements you offered, the tent is too large to be able to fully open... view full answer...
Your Curt cargo carrier part # C18145 can easily be used on your new 2020 Mazda CX-5 with the hitch # 76138 which is a mostly hidden Class III hitch confirmed as a fit. view full answer...
For your 2020 Mazda CX-5 I recommend the Thule roof rack part numbers # TH711420, # TH710501, and # TH145079 as this gives you an incredibly high quality roof rack for your Mazda that has aero bars which will minimize wind noise and affected fuel mileage like you are wanting. Thule roof racks are the highest quality racks on the market which means they will install easily, will do a great job overall carrying cargo, and will last you a really long time. view full answer...
The best rooftop cargo box for your 2018 Mazda CX-5 is the Thule Motion XL Rooftop Cargo Box # TH629807 because it is extremely quiet due to its Aero shape which allows air to easily flow between the cargo box and your CX-5.
The Motion XL # TH629807 can carry up to 165 lbs of gear and has 18 cubic feet of cargo space. It will fit your CX-5 so long as you have a crossbar spread between 23-5/8" and 36-7/8" with crossbars that measure no more than 3-1/2" wide x 1-11/16" tall.

If you were to get a cargo carrier with a longer shank to add some space between the carrier and your exhaust that would help prevent heat damage. In general we don't see this issue really much at all as typically there is enough space between the carrier and the exhaust. If you need a hitch the part # e98902 would work great with a longer shank carrier like the # e98874 which has a shank that measures 9-1/2 inches from pin hole to nearest portion of carrier. view full answer...
A support strap, like part # 18050, is required by warranty on many Curt trailer hitch receivers for non-towing applications. However, the Curt Class III hitch for a 2017 Mazda CX-5, part # C13315, does not have this requirement. I verified with Curt just to be sure. However, using a support strap is never a bad idea for the stability.
With that being said, the Draw-Tite Class III, part # 76138 that fits the CX-5, also does not require any drilling. It installs into existing holes in... view full answer...
It sounds like you're looking for a system that will work with your 2018 Mazda CX-5's flush factory rails. We do carry a roof rack system that is confirmed to fit your CX-5.
My best recommendation is the Yakima Ridgeline & Jetstream kit, which includes the Jetstream Crossbars # Y00425, the Ridgeline Towers # Y00145, and the custom RidgeClip Fit Kit # Y06029. I've linked a helpful product install video that shows how these products work together with another 2018 Mazda CX-5 so you can see... view full answer...
The best option for the 2016 Mazda CX-5 is the Yakima BaseLine kit. This kit has the ability to adjust the pitch and angle of its foot packs and bars to create a more level platform than other setups. This kit consists of:

The Thule Tepui roof top tent part # TH37HJ that you referenced can work on vehicles like your 2014 Mazda CX-5 that have raised side rails but you will need to add a set of crossbars to this setup like with the Malone part # MPG215 which is a confirmed fit. The only style of roof rack this tent does not work with is the style that attaches to a naked roof. view full answer...

If you plan on carrying any womens or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Swagman Easy-Out Women's and Alternative Frame Bike Adapter # 64005 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. None of the trailer hitches for the 2016 Mazda CX-5 require any cutting or trimming of the fascia. The instructions for the hitches are linked on their product pages for you to take a look at.
For a hitch to use with a bike carrier I recommend going with a Class III hitch with a 2 inch receiver such as # 76138. The 2 inch receiver opening will afford you many bike rack and accessory options.
If you can tell me how many bikes you want to carry I can make some recommendations for you. view full answer...
A popular trailer hitch for your 2014 Mazda CX-5 is the Curt Class-II # C12170. It will have a 3,500 pound towing capacity and 350 pound tongue weight capacity.
I did some research on your CX-5 and it seems to have a 2,000 pound maximum towing capacity. I would double-check your owners manual because you will not want to exceed it.
The custom wiring is # C56011 and ball mount kit I would go with is # 989891 (2 trailer hitch balls to fit different applications, ball mount with 3/4 inch... view full answer...
The Inno fairings are designed to fit most crossbar dimensions. So the 48 inch long Onno fairing part # INA262 would fit and do a great job reducing the wind noise created by your crossbars. It will divert air over the bars which means considerable less wind noise. view full answer...
For a great single bike rack that will work with your class 1 1-1/4" hitch on your 2016 Mazda CX-5, I recommend the Inno Tire Hold Bike Rack for 1 Bike - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting # INH110. The Tire Hold is a great choice because not only does it have a 60-pound per bike weight capacity, it also comes with a wheel-mount design that avoids the frame. With this style, you do not need to worry about a bike frame adapter bar if you have a women's bike, children's bike, or step-thru style... view full answer...
The Thule Camber 4-Bike Rack # TH9056 is an excellent choice for a bike rack for your 2020 Mazda CX-5. It has really good spacing between the bikes compared to other racks, protecting them from damage, holds bikes at three different points for optimal stabilization, and has easy-to-use levers for folding and tilting.
It does not come with locks though so I do recommend protecting your investment by adding the Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device # THSTL2 to lock the rack... view full answer...
On your 2015 Mazda CX-5, the measurement you need is from the ground to the inside top of the receiver. If you look at the attached video we that measurement listed at 15-1/2 inches so it is different from the 13 inch you referenced.
For your 13 inch measurement you will then need a 5 inch rise. I recommend the B&W Heavy-Duty Ball Mount - 5" Rise, 6" Drop - 10-3/4" Long - 16,000 lbs # BWBMHD30014 or the Curt # C45336 and then you will need the # A-90 hitch ball. The pin and clip #... view full answer...
