What Single-Bike Bike Rack do You Recommend for My 50-Pound E-Bike on My 2016 Mazda CX-5?

Question:

What bike rack do you recommend for my 2016 Mazda CX-5 with a class 1 hitch.1-1/4 inch for a 50 lb ebike without fenders? Was looking for a 1 bike but would consider a 2 bike rack. I have 2.8" tires.

For a great single bike rack that will work with your class 1 1-1/4" hitch on your 2016 Mazda CX-5, I recommend the Inno Tire Hold Bike Rack for 1 Bike - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting # INH110. The Tire Hold is a great choice because not only does it have a 60-pound per bike weight capacity, it also comes with a wheel-mount design that avoids the frame. With this style, you do not need to worry about a bike frame adapter bar if you have a women's bike, children's bike, or step-thru style frame. The tire hold also works great with your 2.8" wide tires.

In order to make sure the rack will clear the rear bumper with your hitch installed, I recommend measuring from the center pinhole of your hitch to your outside face of your rear bumper. If that measurement is less than 6 inches, you are good to go!
