  • Wiring for Prodigy P3 Brake Controller on 2004 Workhorse W22 Chassis
  • There isn't a brake controller port that I am aware of on your motorhome built on a 2004 Workhorse W22 chassis, but you can check up under the dash for a bundle of wires; they would have a white tag on them. It would generally be to the far left side under the dash if they are there. If those wires are there you would be able to simply splice in the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195. If that bundle of wires is not there you will need the Wiring Kit for 2, 4, 6, and...

  • Timbren vs SumoSpring for Front of 2005 Workhorse W22
  • The Timbren front kit part # TWFRW22 that fits your 2005 Workhorse W22 is much stiffer than the # SSF-280-47 you have now. If stiffer and more supportive is what you want this would be the way to go. If you are wanting a softer ride though this is probably not going to be it.

  • Will Installing Leaf Springs with More Leaves Require New Equalizers and Will They Help Lift Trailer
  • If your existing leaf springs originally measured 25-3/4 inches, it is highly likely that you can put 26 inch long leaf springs, like # e27SR, on your trailer without needing to change the equalizers or move your spring hangers. If the existing springs originally measured 25-1/4 inches, moving up to 26 inch long springs will likely require some adjustments for your trailer. Using leaf springs that are longer and have more leaves will not help lift your trailer. Two ways to help lift...

  • Recommended Timbren Front Axle Suspension Kit for 2000 Fleetwood Flair Workhorse Motorhome
  • A product like the Timbren front-axle Suspension Enhancement System # TGMFP30W is intended to provide support to a front suspension that is in good working order but that needs some help when handling a heavy front-end load like a snowplow. Since your suspension could be over 15 years old, if you are finding it sagging without an extra load like a plow then you might want to have it checked out by a qualified shop to ensure all is well. If so, then the Timbrens will give you extra support...

  • Are There Air Bags for a 2002 Workhorse P42 Chassis
  • I do have suspension enhancement options for a 2002 Workhorse P42 Chassis but there are no air bags available unfortunately. Instead, you can use the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System. The correct one will be based off the suspension. The part # TGMRP30MH is for models with bump stop over u-bolt pad and part # TGMRP30 is for models with bump stop on the frame. These options all work well to provide additional support.

  • Suspension Enhancement Options for 2004 Gulf Stream Sun Voyager on Workhorse W22 Chassis
  • We do have a number of suspension enhancement options that are going to fit your 2004 Gulf Stream Sun Voyager 8368MXG built on a Workhorse W-22 chassis, but there isn't a SuperSprings Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit for this motorhome. The best option for sway control for your motorhome is a rear anti-sway bar because they are better constructed with higher-strength, thicker steel than OEM sway bars. This means the bars are stronger with much higher roll stiffness to combat sway, and their...

  • Sway Bar Recommendation For 2003 Workhorse W-Series 22
  • According to my research the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar part # RM-1259-109 will install on the 2004 Newmar Scottsdale that is on a 2003 W-22 Workhorse chassis. The Newmar Scottsdale from my research is 33-1/2 ft so according to Roadmaster you will not have any issues installing the sway bar. If the motor home was shorter than 33 ft the sway bar would not fit properly and you would need part # RM-1259-108. The metal box in the photo does not interfere with the installation location...
