When installing electric brakes onto your single axle camper you can not use 2 left brakes on one axle. You will need one Left # AKEBRK-35L and one Right # AKEBRK-35R. Unless there is a factory tow package wiring plug available on the vehicle, there's not a way to add one after the fact. For that reason, I recommend using the Tekonsha T-One # 118467 to install the 4 way on your 2017 Subaru Outback Wagon; even though it will have the 4 way dangling out of your rear hatch when you're using it, it doesn't damage the harness and is the only available solution unless you were to cut a hole in the bottom of the vehicle.
