Expert Reply:
Yes, The Thule Hull-A-Port Aero Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs # TH849000 will fit on your 2021 Subaru Ascent OEM cross bars if you have T slotted top channels. If you do not you would need The Thule Compass Kayak and SUP Carrier w/ Tie-Downs # TH890000.
The carrier # TH849000 has a tool-free installation. The carrier has thick rubber saddles and padded arms that will help protect your hull from scratches and scuffs.
This carrier will carry 1 kayak up to 75 pounds. The carrier has integrated locks that will secure the rack to your vehicle.
