The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118458 does not replace any of the connectors on the vehicle rather T's into them. There are two connectors that you will be connecting to on the back of the taillight housing. One is a 3 prong and one is a 2 prong. You will need to be sure you are attaching the correct pigtail from the harness to the connector on the tail light. For example, 3 prong from vehicle to 3 prong from wiring harness etc.

It is not something we have installed on this exact vehicle but there are many instances which I have run into personally where the brake booster is directly behind the firewall where the brake pedal is. However, we have found that it is possible that the heat shield in question will need to be trimmed using aviator shears. Heat shields are thin pieces of metal that help to dissipate heat from the exhaust. Trimming a portion will not negatively affect the performance of the vehicle and the process is actually very easy.

In regards to the Starter Solenoid part # PK5230701, the larger terminals are for power in and out. The smaller terminals are for ignition/remote and ground. It does not matter which side goes where. Since your 2005 Pontiac Vibe would not have came from the factory with a 7-way the one you have would be an aftermarket one. To connect to the blue wire of the connector will require you to run a 10 gauge wire back from the blue wire of the controller to the blue wire of the 7-way which would be the pin in the 5:00 position of the connector.
