  • Recommended Air Suspension Kit for 1965 Ford F-100
  • For your 1965 Ford F100, the rear air suspension you want is the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle # F2071. This is a confirmed fit. You may also be interested in a compressor like # AL25804 to adjust the pressure in your air bags at any time.

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 1966 Ford F-100 With a Standard Bumper
  • I have included a picture of what a deep drop bumper is going to look like for you. If your bumper looks more like the standard bumper, pictured in the FAQ I have linked for you, then you do not have the 10 inch bumper. You would then need a trailer hitch that is designed for the regular bumper, like # 41001. I have included a link to the installation details for both hitches. I also recommend the etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK4. It comes with a ball mount, interchangeable ball set, hitch...

  • Hitch that Fits 1977 Ford F-250 with Narrower Frame
  • Sounds like you have a cab and chassis model Ford F-250 which has frame dimensions of 34 inches measured from outside to outside which we have hitches for like the Curt # C14082 but there is drilling required to install this hitch as well as any other hitch that would fit your truck.

  • Fifth Wheel Hitch and Installation Kit for 1976 Ford F250 Long Bed
  • Let's start with the hitch itself. If you have a long bed truck, the Reese, part # RP30928, would be an excellent choice, with its 20K capacity. For a short bed truck, you'll want to also use a rotating pin box to prevent the nose of your trailer from coming into contact with the cab of your truck. To install either hitch, you'd use the Reese # RP30035 Universal Fifth Wheel Hitch Install Kit. If you click the provided link, you can see the installation instructions. To install a 7-way...

  • Is There a Trailer Hitch for a 70s Ford F-250 with Flatbed
  • We do offer trailer hitch options for a 1972 Ford F-250 but as far as the flatbed goes, this will be up to you to decide as none of our options are designed for this use. However, the best option would be to go with one that is designed for models with a deep drop tube bumper as this would give you the best chance of compatibility. The Curt 3-Piece Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C15511 is what I recommend and there's a photo below to help you determine compatibility.

  • What Needs to Install in Bed of 1979 Ford F100 to Install Fifth Wheel Hitch
  • To install a fifth wheel hitch in the bed of your 1979 Ford F100 truck will require you to install a fifth wheel rail kit. For that you would want the part # RP30035. This will give you the attachment point needed for the hitch to fit in and tow your trailer. I attached a link to the install instructions and an install video on a Ford truck for you to check out as well.

  • Would the B and W Hitch part # BWHDRH25122 Fit Truck with 34 inch Wide Trailer Frame
  • 34 inch frame widths are pretty common cab and chassis trucks. The B and W Hitch part # BWHDRH25122 that you referenced is designed to fit cab and chassis trucks with a 34 inch width measured from outside to outside on trailer frames. If you measured your truck frame and it measures 34 inches from outside to outside the mounting brackets of the part # BWHDRH25122 would be positioned correctly. You most likely would need to drill holes in the frame to get the hitch to bolt up.

  • Receiver and Weight Distribution Hitch Recommendation for 1968 Ford F-250
  • In order to use a weight distribution system you'll need to install a receiver hitch mounted directly to the frame of the vehicle. We don't offer any weight distribution systems that would allow you to utilize a bumper mounted trailer ball. If your heavy duty bumper is a standard or a step bumper, I'd recommend the Draw-Tite # 41947 which has a 1600 lb towing/16000 lb capacity if used with weight distribution. If you have a deep drop bumper, which is also called a cowboy bumper, use #...

  • Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch or Gooseneck Hitch Compatible with 1962 Ford Truck with 34 Inch Frame
  • For your 1962 Ford F-350 dually with 34 inch frame, there is not a fit for a standard 5th wheel hitch and base rails. Because of this, I recommend the Reese Low-Profile 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 30,000 lbs # RP30054 for your 5th wheel hitch because the RBW Lil Rocker won't be a fit. You can alternatively use the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Flatbed Trucks - 30,000 lbs # BWGNRK1500 and then either use an adapter hitch or pin box adapter for compatibility....

  • Gooseneck Hitch Recommendation for 1973 Ford F-100
  • I wish we had a B and W Turnover gooseneck hitch fit for your 1973 Ford F-100 but B and W does not have any fits that go back that far. We'd only really be able to help with with a universal setup like the Buyers Products Gooseneck Hitch Plate # 3373014981 which would need to be bolted to the truck's frame and body or can be welded to the floor of a structural steel bed.

  • Bulldog Inner Tube Gooseneck Coupler Availability that is 4 inches In Diameter
  • Since you need a 4 inch diameter pipe the best option we have is the part # BD0287610300 as it has a 4 inch outer diameter whereas the # BD0287690300 that you referenced would be too wide at 4-1/2 inches. Or the part # CG would work too as it is 4 inch diameter and has no pin holes.

  • For your 1977 Ford F-100, the Draw-Tite Max-E-Loader Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 41504 will fit with your roll pan bumper. If you need trailer wiring, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C55301. • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for 1965 Ford F100
  • For your 1965 Ford F100, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-E-Loader Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41001. This hitch receiver is a 2 inch Class III rated for 600 lbs tongue weight and 6,000 lbs towing but 1,000 lbs tongue and 10,000 lbs towing when using a weight distribution system. • Hitch Recommendation for a 1960 Ford F-350 Dually Flatbed
  • I spoke to my contacts at Curt and Reese and the only styles of hitches that can be made to fit an older truck like yours are multi-fit RV hitches like the # 41990 that has a 16k capacity. This is a weld on hitch that would require either the 7 inch drop brackets part # 4907 or the 16 inch brackets part # 4916. The 7 inch drop bracket should work very well for you since you said you wanted a drop of 6 to 8 inches below frame.

  • 5th Wheel Hitch and Wiring for 1975 Ford F-350 Crew Cab Dually Flatbed
  • First I suggest you verify the towing capacity of your 1975 Ford F-350 dually flatbed since the weight of a 3-car hauler trailer plus 3 vehicles could be quite substantial. I was not able to confirm a tow rating for the truck with Ford but the owner's manual should give you some guidance. You could also check the VIN with a local dealership to confirm its capacity. We do offer a low-profile 5th wheel hitch, part # RP30054 from Reese, that will work with a flatbed truck set-up. This hitch...

  • Will Dexstar Conventional Steel Wheel With Offset Item # AM20504 Work With 1979 Ford F-150
  • We do not carry vehicle rims but we are aware that many people use trailer wheels like our Dexstar Conventional Steel Wheel, Item # AM20504, for vehicles. The Dexstar does have a conventional design which was used by automobiles several years ago. It has a positive offset (+0.5) which puts the wheel's position closer to the frame. Its rim has a 15 inch diameter and is 6 inches wide. It has a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern and a capacity of 1,820-lbs. If the dimensions and capacities...

  • Hitch Option for a 1960 Ford F100
  • We don't have any custom fit hitches confirmed to fit your 1960 Ford F-100, but a multi-fit hitch like the # 41990-07 could possibly work. I'd recommend using a hitch like this or having one professionally fabricated by a qualified welder.

  • Alternative Tailgate Options for a 1977 Ford F-100
  • I do have an option for you but Stromberg Carlson does not offer a Stromberg Carlson 4000 Series 5th Wheel Louvered Tailgate for your 1977 Ford F-100. The only option we have have for you at this time is the Truck Tailgate Net part # TR-03 which is not as solid as the above but will still help to secure cargo. We also have options like the HitchMate Cargo Stabilizer Bar and StabiLoad Support part # HE4016-4017 as well.

  • Base Rails and Brackets Needed to Mount Demco FWH-24P SL 21 Hitch on 1969 Ford F-250
  • For your older Demco FWH-24P SL 21 Hijacker the correct base rails are the SL Series # DM6012. These base rails are unique to the SL Series hitches like what you have and they will run vertical along the truck bed (as opposed to horizontally across like most do). I called my contact at Demco to find the correct mounting brackets you need to install the rails on your 1969 Ford F-250. He stated that you will need to use the Custom Mounting Brackets # DM8553003. He said that these will fit...
