The easiest place to access the wiring that you would need to tap into is behind the tail light assemblies inside the trunk. Pull any carpet or lining away from the rear of the tail lights, and locate the wiring harnesses exiting the tail lights.

There is a plug in style connection at the tail light assemblies on your 2013 Buick Verano for the Tow Ready T-One Wiring Harness, # 118564. Once you remove the felt liner covering the back of the tail light assembly, you will see a black connector plugged into the tail light assembly. The Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM62FR is needed because the brake light switch wire of the 2020 Buick Encore GX isn't useable and this simulates the braking signal so that it can be sent out to the braking system. Unfortunately there is no plug-in kit available for your 2001 Regal, so to install a trailer wiring harness on your vehicle it will have to be hardwired.

On the 2014 Buick Enclave you will not be able to reinstall the regular fascia door to cover the hitch receiver after the hitch is installed. You would have to get the alternate from a GM dealer. I have seen that it can be expensive and it has to be painted to match the vehicle.
