The easiest place to access the wiring that you would need to tap into is behind the tail light assemblies inside the trunk. Pull any carpet or lining away from the rear of the tail lights, and locate the wiring harnesses exiting the tail lights.
Start on the drivers side. Ground the white wire to clean metal on the inside of the trunk. If you can find a factory grounding point nearby, go ahead and use it. Otherwise, use a self-tapping screw. Then, have a helper turn on the left turn signal. Use the included circuit tester to probe the wires until you find the wire that makes the tester blink. Tap the yellow wire into this circuit. Then, activate the running lights, and probe the wires until you find the wire that lights the tester. Tap the brown wire into this circuit. Have your helper press the brake pedal, again probe the wires and tap in the red wire when you find the correct circuit. The green wire would extend over to the passenger side, and would tap into the circuit that lights up the tester when the right turn signal is activated.
I will include a link below to an installation video. The video shows the kit being installed on a different vehicle than yours, but the procedure would be similar.
