- I checked with Stealth Hitches, and can confirm that the installation is going to be the same on the 2019 BMW X5 xLine or M Sport for the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver with Towing Kit # SH25VR.
The reason for that is because these vehicles share the same chassis, so there isn't going to be a difference.

I called my contact at Curt and although the instructions do not mention modifying or trimming the heatshield, they told me that the heatshield is re-installed but you may need to do a little trimming or adding a hole in the heatshield.
