do i have to remove the bumper to install the hitch on my 2005 bmwx5 ?

To install any of the available trailer hitches for your 2005 BMW X5, including the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 75492, you will need to temporarily remove the rear bumper. You will also need to trim or remove the rear fascia door to complete installation. I have included a link to the installation instructions for the hitch below.
