I can tell you that the Draw-Tite hitches do undergo a certain amount of extra voluntary testing that other brands do not do with their hitches. The difference in the installation time between the two hitch receiver's on your 2022 Acura MDX is that the Curt item # C22HR sits lower when mounted so it does not requiring trimming of the rear bumper cover. The Draw-TIte item # DT42MR sits higher after installation which requires you to cut a 4" x 3.5" section of your rear bumper cover out. Both bike racks will hold up and perform really well so when it comes down to it I would have to say that the Yakima RidgeBack # Y02457 would be the best for ease of use since the anti-rattle and locking knob are built into each other and the tilting/folding features are all activated by levers whereas the Kuat Beta uses some levers as well as some pins.

You are correct the Hidden Hitch Class I 1-1/4 Inch Hitch, part # 60814 (no longer available), and the Draw-Tite Class I 1-1/4 Inch Hitch, part # 24755, are the same hitch produced by Cequent Performance Products. Both of the hitches will fit your 2008 Acura TL.

Other than the fact that they are provided by different manufacturers, there is little difference between the Class III hitches manufactured by Curt and Hidden Hitch. In my experience I have found that the Tekonsha harnesses like the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118569 seem to have less issues than units like the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # 56008. I feel that Tekonsha uses a more durable power module that holds up better to road vibration and shock inside the vehicle.
