Curt or Tekonsha Wiring Harness for 2008 Acura RDX for Trailer Hitch
Question:
I am purchasing the Curt 13536 Class III Receiver Hitch for my 2008 Acura RDX, which you recommended to another person who asked about a hitch for their 2009 RDX. You also recommended the Curt Wiring Connector # 56008 to them, but I am wondering what the difference is between that connector and the T-One #118500 wiring, also compatible with the 2008 RDX. Thanks in advance.

First, you made a good choice with the hitch for your 2008 Acura RDX with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13536.
And I also recommend going with the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # 56008.
The reason we like this one over the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118500 you mentioned is because the Curt has a higher maximum amperage rating, which means this harness will give you the best prevention against potential shorts.
