This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side tail light. You will have to remove the tail light assembly to access this harness.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Would be nice if there was an option/bracket for mounting the four pole plug.
Works great, no issues, used with multiple trailers so far.
the wiring harness fit perfectly and I installed in just a couple of hours front to back and ready to pull the jeep behind the motorhome. the kit came with all parts necessary to install complete without going to find wire ties, splice kits, trailer ends, etc, were all there. good job and will use them again in future needs.
Best kit simple installation and reliable. Beats the old cut, wire, and tape method by a long shot. This is the only hitch wiring kit I’ll ever use from this one on.

Still absolutely the best investment in trailer hitch wiring kits I’ve ever made.
I installed the Curt T-connector wiring harness w/4-pole flat connector with the no-drill bracket, along with a Curt trailer hitch receiver and the max-tow adjustable ball mount that I purchased through eTrailor and everything worked out perfectly. The installation of everything completed in about 1.5 hours and I was able to tow my HD motorcycle to the 2014 West Virginia Mountainfest on my 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport. My hats off to Ricky S at etrailor for helping me out and following up with my order. Anthony
Wiring kit worked great. I used it to hook up lights on a trailer tongue mounted motorcycle carrier (the kind with no wheels). Unfortunately the lights got damaged pretty badly from an offroad trip in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, but the wiring kit is still attached and working fine.
This would be 5 stars for quality of product, ease of install and fitment. I gave it 4 stars because there's no protection for the wires and it runs close to the exhaust system. The harness is extremely easy to install. The connections plug directly into the existing harness. Drop them through the wheel well and use some zip tie anchors to secure it to the body. I used windex to ensure a grease free surface. Created a secondary loop to store when not in use.
All in all a good quality product that's easy to install and works as expected.
My hitch for the Jeep came in 3 days, and both the hitch and the wiring kit installed in under an hour. Very easy, and a perfect fit. Will be using for a bike rack, and a utility trailer.
This is a very nice harness. It took about 5 minutes to install. The plastic connector clips fit perfectly, just like the factory harness clips. I wish there was a mount for the trailer connector though. Then it would be AMAZING. I ended up just bundling the extra wire under my new Curt hitch.

Bought curt wiring kit, and it was easy to install as well!! This was probably the easiest thing I've done to my jeep!
Simple to install. Only snag I ran into was that two of the pre-cut holes in the frame were too small for the bolts, so I had to use a drill bit to slightly widen them. Otherwise, very simple.
Wiring T-Connector arrived 1 day earlier than expected with the trailer hitch. It was very easy to install with the simple instructions. Well made product and looked just like the factory wiring and connectors. I didn't noticed on the website a bracket to order but I had a Z type piece of metal that I was able to make bracket out of and mount to the frame of the vehicle.

This hitch looks like a factory installed hitch. Very nice finish and easy installation. Also ordered the wiring harness. It was the easiest installation of a wiring harness I have ever encountered. Awesome experience with etrailer. Will definitely use again and recommend them to all my friends.

A simple plug and play with zero issues!
This was a pretty simple installation. Just plug-n-play. The connectors matched the factory exactly. I would highly recommend watching the video for the installation. I will recommend this product to anyone looking for trailer hitch wiring.

Both of these products have been working as promised. I have no problem recommending them or your company.
The wiring harness was very easy to install after watching the video on etrailer. The connectors look like they are high quality. Some kind of mounting plate for the connector on the trailer side would have given it a more professional look instead of just letting the connecter "dangle" from the bumper.

I bought this one as a backup, to the original one has been installed for over four years. I Jane never had a problem with this wiring harness. I have traveled from New York to Homer Alaska putting 14,000 miles and it still works great.
Wiring harness was very easy to install on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler. No problems of any kind. Needed this for a smaller trailer to haul my golf cart to the campground on.

This is my second time using etrailer and I can say I have not dealt with a company that is better than this one has been. The last order I made, one of the items was back ordered, so instead of sending me an email they actually called me. That kind of service is sadly lacking in most businesses. Initial installation was easy and the harness has performed flawlessly, a very good product.
Installed the hitch and wiring harness in less than 45 minutes. Fits perfect and looks good can't wait to hook up the trailer.

Works great as advertised. Would recommend it and would by again.
I purchased this product skeptical that it would work. However, I was amazed that everything worked wonderfully and super easy to install. I loved the videos to help install the part. I am super happy with this product.
Product showed up very quickly and is totally as described. Super easy to install and wow, I have trailer wiring.
As usual, etrailer just made the whole process easy. The price is well below what I could find it for locally. All good!
