Hello everybody. This is Jeff with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Curt T-connector custom fit towed vehicle to RV wiring harness with the four way flat trailer connector. And this is for Jeeps. It is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2018 and newer Jeep Wrangler jail models and it does exclude the hybrid models.
And it also fits the 2020 and newer Jeep Gladiators. And on a custom fit part like this, I do recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year, model, vehicle and it'll show if this will work for your application. Now this part here will include everything laid out on the table. It will include the four way RV vehicle wiring harness, that gets it plugged into your vehicle. The four way flat extension, that'll run the four way from your wiring harness on your vehicle to your RV, the mounting bracket for that four way, the hardware you need for installation, and even some cable ties that take up any slack in the wiring.
Basically this harness will connect a towed vehicle to an RV using a standard four way flat trailer plug. This RV harness uses the vehicle's existing taillights, turn signals, and brake lights, so it eliminates the need to have to purchase any additional lighting. And basically the vehicle's lights are able to operate in conjunction with your RVs lights, signaling other drivers and functioning, just like a standard trailer in tow. It is a simple plug n play design, eliminates the need for cutting or splicing. Basically they'll plug into existing sockets that are on the vehicle and it does use integrated block dye hoses to isolate any sensitive vehicle electronics from your RV signals.

The installation of the Curt custom tail light wiring kit was almost as simple and easy as the purchase. etrailer is great!
This kit was as plug&play as it could be. The hard part/lights were a breeze. The running of the cables was a bit more difficult, but crawling around on my back isn't the most fun thing I do. If you can live with just the 4 wire typical trailer plug, your DONE. I needed to wire up a 6 pin to connect to my RV. All the documents provided by etrailer with the sale and online made this pretty painless.

Super easy installation. This is the third vehicle I have wired for towing and this was by far the simplest.
Installed in 2024 Jeep Wrangler; plug 'n' play installation! I opted to run the 4 wire cable inside (versus along the frame) to protect and follow OEM wiring route. The tow vehicle brake and turn signal is overridden when the Jeep brake is applied using a supplemental inertia braking system (i.e., Brake Buddy). This can be addressed with a relay kit and was expected.
Couldn’t have been easier. On the Wrangler JL you can run the wire harness in the driver side frame rail from the very rear to the very front.
You can’t beat etrailer if you want to get it right! The videos are right on.
It doesn’t work on a ‘24 Wrangler even though it’s supposed to fit. Well made, easy to install, just not the right part.

The wiring works as advertised, but I used this on a Jeep Gladiator which required an extension on the wiring. The extension provided in the kit was of a smaller gauge than the rest of the wiring…I was disappointed. It works, but I felt it should be of the same gauge as the original.

No, the packages were not delivered. I had to go pick them up myself. I drove 30 miles to pick them up. One package is still lost. And both packages that I went to pick up are open. I hope anything is not lost. Best regards, Bill.
Great product at a great price
Probably the best wiring kit for the Jeep, but I wish it came with the 6 pin plug. I had to spend an extra few $$ to buy the 6 pin and adapt it.
