Firestone Coil-Rite springs fit inside your existing rear coil springs to maximize the effectiveness of your suspension system. The added cushion provided by the air springs allows your vehicle to better handle a heavy load or trailer. Hauling heavy loads or towing a heavy trailer can make the rear of your vehicle sag and the front end rise. This puts more strain on your rear axle and reduces contact between your front tires and the road, causing problems with braking, steering control and traction. By adding air springs to your rear suspension, you can help to level your vehicle for more effective braking and handling under heavy loading or when you encounter adverse road conditions. The air springs also help to level your headlight beams and reduce wear on your tires.
Adjustable Air Pressure
The air pressure in your Coil-Rite springs can be adjusted manually, side to side, to compensate for off-center loads. A centered load improves the stability of your vehicle by reducing body roll. The air springs will also help to absorb road shock and soften contact between your axle and frame. This prevents bottoming out, thus improving ride comfort. Route the air line tubing for the springs to your vehicle's bumper to provide easy access to the manual inflation valves.
Air Spring Construction
Coil-Rite springs are constructed of durable, elastic polyurethane to ensure years of service. Single replacement springs (sold separately) are available for maintenance to an existing Coil-Rite kit.
Air Spring Installation
The Coil-Rite springs install inside your existing coil springs. The custom-fit springs attach to your vehicle's spring seats.

It was not very warm in MN when I installed them so I needed to use lubrication and a heat gun to warm the airbags from a distance so the airbags would be pliable. My gladiator has a Decked drawer system and rear steel bumper installed which caused the rear to squat more than the front. After installing these airbags and learning that I was fluent in “FRENCH” the rear of the truck was raised and squatting issues addressed. The drive was improved as well, less body roll around curves.
Great upgrade for carrying weight in the back or towing a trailer. They are a bit tough to install. I found twisting the bag over in the middle and inserting it between the spring to the trick. Insert the top side on the passenger bag first. Insert the bottom side first on the driver side take care with the week ass tubing because if it folds over on itself in a coil, it will remain pinched which I can see will cause problems in the future. The tubing was better 20 years ago than what they give you today. One tube replacement over $30!! Ridiculous !! I like the right height adjustability and my truck feels more stable with a load of weight in the back of my truck advertised in the video shown below.
Great product and works perfect on my Jeep Gladiator. The instaletion video was nice to watch although is very much the harder way to install the air bags. Much easier to remove the outer sway bar bolts and the shoch bolts, raise the frame and drop the bag down through the top of the removed spring. Just be sure to align the factory top spring pad correctly when raising the axle back in place. This also made it a lot easier to install the air line. It took me about one hour this way for the complete job and never folded the bag to force it through the spring.

I have been towing my trailer to some fun locations on some not so friendly roads. The air bags are working perfectly. I bring an air compressor with me so I can deflate to low pressure when not towing and fill the airbags up when needed.
Super easy one person install on 2020 Jeep Gladiator. tip: drop the shocks at the lower mounting point and drop the sway bar links where they attach to the frame, springs slide right out making this MUCH easier. Great service and fast shipping keep us coming back to etrailer again and again, All it takes is 30-40 lbs of air via a single valve stem thanks to purchasing the T fitting. We are ready to crawl! Trailer pictured is 4000lbs + loaded. Sitting very well thanks to this Firestone bag kit! Thanks again etrailer!
Good product, good price, good service
Much improvement for towing and hauling heavy loads in the bed. 2021 Jeep Gladiator and NuCamp T@B 400 Boondock teardrop trailer.
They want a review 12 hours after delivery :-(
On a 40 degree day I had to drop the shocks and swapbar connections and then jack down the axle housing and remove the springs and drop the bags in from the top. The bags are just to solid, even after warming them up inside the house, to go thru the side of the spring. It doesn't take all that much longer to remove the springs. You just have to be aware of more ways that hoses, cables, and such could be hurt.
The ride is stiffer, even at 5# of air. Measuring rearend sag they should be able to deal with the load my trailer tongue when aired up to 60#
I would have waited and done a better review but they couldn't wait to bug me for comments
I think its sad when i cant get help with a part that you guys forgot to send but then now its a warranty thing now wow.
Bought these in February 23, a hole appeared in one on July. Had to buy second set to replace one bag. Ordered on a Saturday, paid for 2 day delivery and received on Wednesday. Figured I would have received them on Tuesday
Fantastic product! Raised my Gladiator almost 2" in the rear. Purchased these bags because of the drawer system, bed rack, and RTT in the bed caused the rear of the Gladdy to be 1.25" lower than the front. Now the Gladdy sits like a "normal" truck with the rear slightly higher than the front. Ride is noticeably better! Painful to install but worth it!
The installation wasn’t bad but I already have an issue with one bag. I will let you know when I get time to take it apart and find the air problem.
Great quality product. These will help sag when towing a trailer. They will also increase the ride harshness slightly.
Installed in jeep . Nice added feature for pulling camp trailer .
They work great . Should of done sooner.
Doesn’t quite lift up as I expected it to but does make the springs stiffer
Make sure to watch an install video, makes things much easier. Significantly improves droop and towing. Exceeded my expectations.
Great quality product, although for install I had to pull the springs on my diesel gladiator to get the airbags installed.
The kit was exactly as described. But the bags were very hard to slide in it was way easier to remove than sping and slide the bag in from the top
Item arrived promptly . No installation yet
Tough to install through coil spring but happy once installed
While these were more difficult to install than they looked, They did the job. I'll be towing with them in just a few days!
Great product thank you for everything

Ah, such a helpful language that "FRENCH" is. I use it quite often with installations.
