This sturdy, stainless steel lock resists corrosion and is custom fit to your vehicle. The Pop & Lock mounts permanently inside your truck's tailgate handle, so thieving varmints can't pop it out. The lock is installed using basic tools - no welding or drilling is necessary. And the tailgate lock wires directly into your powered lock system using quick splice connectors. 2011 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty
Liked the concept when I saw this and watched the install video. It was more difficult to install than I had hoped. Took almost a day to get it in. I take most of the fault for that due to struggling getting things dis-assembled and re-assembled. Once in it works as advertised. Did notice one little challenge, if the doors are locked the tailgate is locked. Made it difficult to load without the keys. Small thing, overall very satisfied.

Works great.. Buyers should look at handle of tailgate, mine is plastic and feels easy to break off while locked. The lock itself works perfectly fine just make sure you unlock it before trying to open! Yanking too hard might break the tailgate handle! (Still locked though!)
