Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. Stable lumens builds off the idea of effective lumens by measuring the amount of light produced after 30 minutes of usage, or once the diodes have reached their average operating temperature. These bulbs have a 500 raw lumen capacity per bulb and produce 412 effective lumens per bulb. The stable lumen capacity per bulb is 289 lumens.

Hello ,everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the ARC Eco Series amber LED turn signal bulbs with the wedge base. It is for a quantity of two bulbs. Now these bulbs will let you easily upgrade your factory incandescent turn signal bulbs with these amber WTY21W LED bulbs. They are a compact bulb design. They use automotive grade LED chips, and they are sized similar to the OEM bulbs to ensure that there's no fitment or clearance issues.
If you notice, they use a diffused 360 degree lens, which will create a nice, smooth all around illumination. The base we mentioned is designed to mount into a WTY21W fixture, which is mainly used on the newer Ford trucks. This is a durable aluminum construction, prevents overheating, and the contact points at the bottom here, there's two of them. They are polarity reversible contact points, which means when you put the bulb in, either way you put it in, it'll still light up. The specs on this, now, I am gonna hook this up to some 12 volt power to show you how bright the bulb is, but I first wanna go through some specs.
The color again is amber. The quantity is for two bulbs, and there are 23 LEDs per bulb. The bulb type is PWY24W, and the light output for the raw lumens is 600 lumens per bulb. The power draw at 12 volts, 0.65 amps, voltage nine volts to 16 volts DC, and it does have an IP67 rating. So what I'm gonna do is go ahead and take our connectors here, and as I said, it doesn't matter positive or negative which one you hook up.
They'll still light up. Go ahead and turn on our power, and you can see how bright amber bulb it is. Go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. You can see it's very bright. As I mentioned, it has 23 LEDs per bulb, so it gives off a very bright...
Even if I back out, let me see if it zoomed out, you can see how bright that bulb is. I'm gonna go ahead and turn back on the overhead lights. I'll go ahead and turn off the power. Disconnect it, but that should do it for the review on the ARC Eco Series amber LED turn signal bulbs with the wedge base.
