Adding a bedliner is gonna protect your vehicle against scratches in the paint and dents from the cargo that you're gonna have in your bed. Essentially, if you're using your truck as a truck, this is gonna help protect your bed from any type of damage and allow you to get a longer life out of the finish. The impact liner is one of the latest releases from WeatherTech and what makes it different is the fact that underneath it you have these rings that's gonna help absorb shock and allow airflow for water to drain. The material itself is a thermoplastic that is molded to the exact specifications of the inside of the bed. WeatherTech uses a proprietary measuring system that uses lasers to capture every contour.
So even like spots for your tie downs and the space for your utility step handle are all accounted for all throughout. Included with your impact liner is your tech ball and socket retention system. You're gonna install this by using the included alcohol pad or any alcohol you have on hand and prepping the surface of your bed for the ball and then it actually feeds through the precut hole and then the socket is gonna make contact and retain the impact liner. Maintenance for your impact liner is just as simple as removing it, hosing it down, and just giving it a good scrub if necessary, if you have dirt or sand or any grit and grime, you can blow it out and it's designed to withstand UV light so it can be outdoors exposed to the elements all the time. I've had some neighbors that I've spoken with actually use the TechCare that's used mostly primarily for like the inside to actually give it a treatment 'cause it's gonna help give it that out the box fresh look every time.
