Installation
This system is designed to be used in conjunction with the Pack'Em tower kit (PK-BM - sold separately). The four mounting hangers included with this expansion package hang from the wall of your enclosed trailer and provide attachment points for the two PK-BM towers. Both the hangers and the towers have pre-drilled holes so that you can easily secure them to your trailer's wall for increased stability.
Backpack Blower Holder
The backpack blower holder on this rack extension is designed to securely hold your blower at its grab handle. Simply hang your blower from the hook and then fold down the integrated steel arm. Once the arm is properly positioned over the hook, you can lock it in place with a padlock (sold separately).
If you have a STIHL 420 backpack blower, you will need to use Pack'Em adapter PA-STIHL420 (sold separately). A different adapter, PA-STIHLECHO, is required if you have a STIHL 550, STIHL 600, ECHO or RedMax blower.
Shovel Holder
The shovel holder allows you to stack up to six straight-handle shovels, rakes or brooms onto its angled arms.
Included Hooks
The remaining accessories are various-sized hooks. The largest hook is meant to hold a spare tire. Simply set the tire on the hook so that it hangs by its center hole, and the weight of the tire should keep it securely in place. This holder will work for almost any size tire - bolt pattern does not affect fit. Additional hooks are designed to hold your hedge trimmer and any other items that can be hung from the walls, such as cords or hoses.

Today we're going to be working with our enclosed trailer. We're going to install the Pack 'Em Rack for enclosed trailers, which will hold one blower, a hedge trimmer, up to six shovels, a spare tire, and other equipment, part number PK-BM-OP2. Here with our rack installed, we can go ahead and put on our hedge trimmer with the bent hook so that it'll hold it flat against the wall, and standard hook for accessories, such as an extension cord. Then, we've got our large hook for backpack blower. Our second rack we have set up, we've got a hook that'll hold shovels and rakes, ratchet straps for other cargo, and a spare tire holder. Our rack is made of a good, sturdy, steel construction, has a nice, gray, powder coated finish for rust resistance, and a unique hammered pattern adds a nice finishing tough. This comes along with a one year warranty. Our install kit is going to come with a total of four top hooks which will hook around the top of our enclosed trailer. However, because our enclosed trailer has been customized and outfitted with a 2x6 construction that's been bent cut on a 45, we're going to go ahead and hook our top hook on the 2x6. We can see it's got two pre-drilled holes for securing to the sidewall, and a metal button.
The metal button is designed to fit directly into the cross rail that has a hole and slot for securing the top hook. We'll set our cross rail into position. Once we have a our cross bar in place, we can go ahead and secure our rack to the sidewall using the hardware provided. I'm going to put two here in the upright, and one in the cross rail using the pre-drilled holes. Once we've secured the rack to the wall, we can go ahead and start installing our hooks. The equipment holders can be swapped between the racks or changed around for whatever best suits your application. We're going to start here with our blower hook.
To secure it to the cross rail, we'll use the hardware provided, taking our bolt going down through the hook, through the cross rail, and securing it underneath with a nut. Then, at the bottom of the hook with the pre-drilled hole, we can use a self tapping screw to secure the bottom hook to the sidewall. Once the screw's in place holding my hook, I'll go back and tighten down our bolt and lock nut. Once we've tightened down our two fasteners, you can see it holds the hook nice and tightly to both the sidewall and the cross rail. Next, we'll go ahead and install our other hooks for this cross rail. Once we have them in place, we can go ahead and hang our equipment.
Now, with everything installed and organized, we're ready to head on down the road. There you have it for the Pack 'Em Rack for enclosed trailers, part number PK-BM-OP2. .
