This was a great upgrade on travel trailer replacement of the original equalizer. This was on a 2024 Jayco and took for both sides with the upgraded shackles with wet bolts took about 3 hrs. Well wort

by:

I purchase these for my son's trailer. I fitted a set on my 5th wheel over a year ago and have noticed the difference. I like the fact they are bronze bushing and have grease zerks.

Yes, I like your product. It give me more confidence when towing my 5th. Wheel. Also I think it feels better when Im towing 3 items that stand out. 1. The thickness of the shackles for strength 2. The bronze bushing good wear factor. 3. The availability to grease the bronze bearing. Reduces wear. I like these so much that I purchased a set for my sons travel trailer.

@Kenneth That's great, thank you for your business!

by:

Great upgrade. These help improve the ride in the truck while towing. Less items move in the trailer. Definitely worth the upgrade. I would do this again on the next trailer if not installed by the factory. Also, upgrade your shackles to wet bolts.

by:

I had the Morryde CRE 3000 suspension kit installed on my other 5th wheel and it was great. I haven't had a chance to install this one yet but I am expecting the same great quality from Morryde.

The staff at E-Trailer was was excellent to work with and a great help then a problem arose. I would highly recommend both E-Trailer and Morryde from my experience . They care about customer service. Well done.

by:

Excellent upgrade over the stock equilizer. You can definitely tell a difference in ride quality going over any type of bump and improves porpoising recovery. We did have to readjust our weight distribution due to the extra 3in height the new equalizers add so something to think about. You will notice a difference in ride quality for the better. 5 stars

by:

This has been a great improvement to the suspension system on my RV trailer. You can feel the difference going down the road. Would recommend this upgrade if your RV came without this system as mine did. It should be standard on all RV trailers.

by:

Noticeable difference when pulling our 36’ fifth wheel.

by:

Great addition to the 5th wheel, easy installation.

Note:
Must have the skill and the tools to do it safely.

by:

Smooths out the ride on my toy hauler. Really notice how well it works when driving off pavement. My truck bounces over pot holes and the trailer barely moves

by:

Great addition to any trailer. Very noticeable improvement right away. Installed these on a Winnebago Voyage...straightforward install if you have the space and tools (jacks and impact wrench). Use the wet bolt kit too.

by:

I replaced the shackles, leaf springs and shocks on my fifth wheel. Man what a difference!

by:

I replaced my trailers equalizer and shackles with new ones from MorRyde a year ago. Installation was straightforward using my own tools. My stock equalizers were the solid metal ones, the CRE3000’s have rubber bushings to absorb some of the shock. The heavy duty shackles are twice the thickness of the stock ones for extra strength. I also put in greasable wet bolts with brass bushings. I’m totally satisfied with each of these components.

by:

Very good communication and customer service! Only wish you offered installation! Looking forward to installing the new parts!

by:

Excellent upgrade to my suspension!

by:

E Trailer did great on this order. The people I talked to were excellent they help me the only downside this whole thing is a dumb US Postal Service. I think they hire the dumbest people on the planet and try to give them a job so they won’t be on welfare.

by:

They shouldnt be allowed to sell travel trailers without these on them! This not only calmed down the trailer they help the jarring felt on the truck as well

If you own a brand new trailer or one a few years old out these in right away

By the way my trailer was only 2 years old and old hardware was shot out already

by:

Didn’t ship as expected, was shipped with different shipper than the rest of the order and it is to arrive 5 days later the rest of order. Don’t recommend if you need parts timely and do not schedule repairs until after you receive your order. Not reliable.

by:

LOOKING FORWARD TO INSTALL EQUALIZERS WITH MY WET BOLT KIT.WILL ADVISE WHEN PROJECT IS COMPLETED.ALSO LIKE TO MENTION THAT MY ITEMS WERE PACKAGED AND PROTECTED VERY WELL!THANK YOU

by:

Easy installation and good performance.

by:

Ride is smother, trailer follows like it should. No more tire problems..

by:

They are nice, but the installation was tough. I spent hours working on this only to find out every wet bolt was .015 thousand oversized. No bolt would ever go in, no matter how hard I hammered. I chucked every wet bolt in a lathe and cut down part of the knurls. Something most people do not have access to. Every bolt (knurl) was a larger size.

by:

Installed on a 2018 Prime Time Avenger ATI. Rear axle failed (lost its arc resulting in a burred spindle and inconsistent tire wear). During inspection of the hanging components, found the OEM shackle links failed or in the process of failing. Took approximately 12 hours (dodging periodic rainstorms) to replace rear axle and the suspension kits and springs for both axles. Installation was straight forward without complexity. I can now rest easy that these parts will last longer.

by:

These Equalizers are a huge step up from stock. It made towing a quiter, smoother, and solid ride going down the road. Very good investment.

After a year of roaming around with our 37 Travel Trailer and the CRE3000s, I have to say there is no update. That is a good thing it still rides, feels, handles, and sounds as great as it did the day we put them on. Great investment without a doubt put em on!

by:

Still haven't put them on yet

We will be here when you do put them on and would love to hear how they are working for you.

by:

This MORyde tandem equalizer is 3 steps above the cast steel factory equalizer. Fit perfectly and rides much better with the rubber bump stops and all new wet bolts. Near zero chucking and at times I forget it's back there and I highly recommend.

  • How to Pick Out Replacement MORryde Suspension Upgrade for EquaFlexon 2019 Grand Design 381M
It really comes down to knowing what Equaflex you have now or the dimensions of them and then picking out the matching MORryde kit. The part # MR87ZR is made to fit the most common dimensions as it is for 33 inch wheelbases and has 6-1/2 inches between the front and rear bolt holes with 3-1/8 inches between the holes vertically.

  • Recommended Replacement for Lippert Equa-Flex Equalizers on Tandem Axle Trailer
In order to replace the Lippert Equa-Flex Equalizers, I recommend using the MORryde Rubber Equalizers. The MORryde equalizers offer greater travel which equates to more shock absorption, have a longer warranty so you'll have more coverage, and they are made in the USA so you know they are a quality product. In order to choose the correct one just simply measure your axle spread (center of front axle to center of rear), if it's 33" then use part # MR87ZR or if it's 35" then use part # MR27ZR. I...

To determine your wheelbase, measure the distance between the center of your front wheel to the center of your rear wheel. You are correct that the 8000lb rating that the MORryde Rubber Equalizers for Tandem Axle Trailers - 33" Wheelbase - 8K # MR87ZR has is the maximum axle rating, and they would work perfectly with your 6000lb axles. Now to determine if these equalizers will fit you will need to compare them to your current equalizers. The MORryde CRE3000 Rubber Equalizers like part # MR87ZR and MORryde SRE4000 Rubber Equalizers like part # MR97ZR are both great options. That said, the SRE4000 has more suspension travel (4" Vs. 3"), greater road shock absorption, a longer warranty (3 Yrs. Vs. 2 Yrs.), and a reinforced crossmember for increased rigidity. If you are looking for the best option then go with the SRE4000 but the CRE3000 works great as an upgrade as well for a bit less cost.

Yes, axle spread and wheel base by definition are the same measurements. You will measure from the center of one axle to the center of the 2nd axle to determine what you axle spread is. This may be difficult as some wheels and covers will make this harder to determine. You can also measure from common points in reference to the axle. Such as the front of the front axle tube to front of the 2nd axle tube or front of front tire to front of rear tire. If you do that you will want to be sure...

  • MORryde CRE3000 or Dexter E-Z Flex Trailer Suspension Equalizers?
Both the MORryde Rubber Equalizers # MR87ZR and Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit # K71-652-00 are achieving the same result. They are doing so with slightly different designs but end up with the same result. I recommend using the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit # K71-652-00 as it is a cleaner design. It has built in grease fittings for easy lubrication as well as being able to easily see the rubber core versus the MORryde which is concealed and in my opinion will more easily trap dirt and debris.

Despite what the manufacturers of these equalizers say, the axle/wheel spacing isn't the right way to figure out the best fit for upgraded equalizers, including the MORryde CRE3000. The wheel spacing is more of a guideline, so to determine the correct one, you need to measure your equalizer and find a match (or one as close as possible).
