How to Determine Correct MORryde CRE3000 Equalizer Upgrade

Question:

Hi. I’m trying to figure out if the Moryde CRE3000 suspension system will work on my 2003 Komfort 5th wheel trailer. With the tires on the ground I measure the center of the from axle to axle 34”. With the wheels off and trailer jacked up. I measure the center 35” from the center of the axles. I am going to be replacing the leaf springs as they are starting to flatten out. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Despite what the manufacturers of these equalizers say, the axle/wheel spacing isn't the right way to figure out the best fit for upgraded equalizers, including the MORryde CRE3000. The wheel spacing is more of a guideline, so to determine the correct one, you need to measure your equalizer and find a match (or one as close as possible). So measure your equalizer from center to center of the bolt holes horizontally, as well as its height vertically from bolt hole to bolt hole.

If your equalizer is 8" horizontally and 3-1/2" tall go with the MORryde Equalizers # MR27ZR.

For an equalizer that measures 6-1/2" horizontally and 3-1/4" tall go with the MORryde Equalizers # MR87ZR.

Then for an upgraded suspension kit to go with it, measure from center to center of your shackle straps to get the right one, either the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers - 3-1/8" Long Shackle Straps # MR76ZR or 2-1/4" Long Shackle Straps # MR46ZR.
