Specs:
The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.

Today we're going to be taking a look at part #BUL11CMB. This the LED Backup light. It's going to be a white light with a clear lens from Optronics and it's certified for the backup light function when installed as a pair in a two-lamp system. It's going to feature the long-lasting LEDs that are going to be great replacements for incandescent lights. It's going to feature a multi-diode design that's going to optimize your light output. You don't have to worry about replacing any bulbs and you don't have to worry about any brittle filaments.
The LED system is going to be more efficient. It's going to provide brighter light with using less power. It's also going to feature a nice sealed waterproof 1-piece molded plastic housing with a nice durable lens on it. It's also going to have the corrosion-resistant design. You can see back here it's a different type of connection.
This is a weatherproof connection on the back of the light. The water-blocking design is going to help to keep moisture out of the connection points and it does require the weatherproof connection pigtail, part #AL45PWTB. That is going to be sold separately and again it is going to require that for a complete installation. You can find that product right here at etrailer.com. Again, it's just going to look like this.
You can see it underneath the related products on the right hand side of your screen and that is going to be sold separately so you will need to pick that up. This is Department of Transportation compliant. It meets FMVSS 108 requirements in any 360-degree position. It's a nice round shape and if we take a look at the overall dimensions real quick. It's going to give us an overall diameter of 4-5/16 inch and overall depth of 1-5/8 inch.
It's going to contain LEDs. The power draw is 0.260 amps and 12.8 volts and this is a flush mount installation with a grommet that is going to be sold separately with part #A45GB and again everything that's sold separately you can find right here at etrailer.com. We're going to go ahead and make our connection and show you what the light looks like with power running to it and with our overhead lights turned off. So we'll take our plug. We're going to fit it into position until it clips over the secure clip there at the top of that connection point. So with the light connected if we activate the reverse function you can see there that it's going to send out a nice clear LED signal. The white light really shines bright, especially coming through that clear lens and again it's going to contain 10 LEDs providing plenty of light to come through for a nice consistent strong signal. That's going to do it for today's review of part #BUL11CMB. This is the LED backup light from Optronics. .
