Video Transcript for Review of MORryde Trailer Leaf Spring Suspension - Upgrade Triple Axle 33 Inch Wheelbase - MR67ZR

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a look at this MORryde rubber suspension upgrade for triple axle trailers with a 33 inch wheel base. Now this kit is going to work with an axle capacity of 5,200 to 7,000 pounds per axle, and this is a great system to consider if you frequently travel over rough roads where some extra travel in your suspension would ease your way. Or if you have issues with body roll in your trailer and you need to reinforce your frame, these rubber equalizers are going to significantly upgrade your fifth wheel or travel trailer to help solve the problems of road shock and chucking. Each equalizer contains an extra thick heavy duty rubber shear spring that helps to absorb and dampen vibration and bounce, resulting in a less bumpy ride. The springs also absorb the back and forth movement to reduce chucking and jerking so that you don't get thrown around inside of your cab.

Now the rubber used in these inserts is thicker than what is in most equalizer upgrades. Making this kit a premium suspension option for your trailer. Now each of these equalizers offer up to four inches of up and down travel. The more travel your trailer suspension has, the better it is able to compensate for road shock. When you hit a pothole, for example, these equalizers are going to allow your suspension to account for that dip on one side so that the opposite side, the opposite wheels rather, aren't forced to compensate.

As a result, you'll get an ultra smooth ride even when you're driving over uneven campground roads or speed bumps. Now, included with this kit are these X factor cross members that you see here. And these cross members are going to reinforce your trailer's frame, giving it added support and stability and extending the life of your trailer. They are going to be able to easily extend, as you see here, to match the width of your trailer. And this is going to be an easy bolt on installation.

And as you can see, I do have somewhat limited space here in my studio so I tried to lay out everything as much as possible so you could see what you we're getting in this kit. But right here we do have the hardware for mounting the equalizers and the cross member. So everything that you see here on the tables here before me are going to be included with this kit. The bolts and shackle straps for mounting your leaf springs are sold separately, and while you're replacing the equalizers, we do recommend using MORryde suspension upgrade kit which is sold separately to upgrade your shackle links as well. Factory shackle links wear out pretty quickly and easily.

So replacing them with MORryde thick heavy duty shackle links will save you the time and effort of having to frequently replace them. Not to mention you're going to get easy to grease bolts and long lasting bronze bushings with that kit for a totally upgraded setup. So if you're interested in checking that out, check the related product section of this product page for the suspension upgrade kit that will work best for you. These parts are made here in the USA, and again this is for triple axle trailers with 33 inch wheel base and double eye leaf springs. To determine your wheel base, measure the distance between the center of your front wheel to the center of your rear wheel. And again, this is for an axle capacity of 5,200 to 7,000 pounds per axle. Well, that's going to conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..

One of the equalizers (SRE4000) failed after less than 500 miles. Had to go through MorRyde and they sent me replacements and stated that the SRE4000 has been replaced by AllTrek4000 (which is the replacements they sent. They are also cheaper than what I bought but they would not refund the difference or the labor I had to pay to the the SRE4000’s installed. I ended up installing the AllTrek 4000’s in the campground while I was on vacation due to the failure.

I feel so much more confident the suspension will hold up to many miles of travel. I love that I can grease the bronze bushings and know that there is maximum protection in those joints. Of course I also love the smooth ride and less disruption inside the camper.

Kit looks awesome and can already tell the difference on the suspension while driving or the train tracks on my way home.

Morryde 4000 equalizers and X factor crossmember went on in a couple of hours in my driveway. Liked the function of the crossmember so much I ordered one for the front and rear hangers as well. Notable difference in how contents rode on test drive, no open drawers like usual....

Part of MORryde premium suspension kit. All together they work great. If you are careful ….with plenty of jacks ….job can be done by yourself.

by:

Replacing 10 year old system with Moryde system greatly improved my 2011 Raptor.

The bolt kit arrived promptly, as is almost always the case with etrailer products, which I appreciated. The packaging however was of poor quality. The packaging inside the box had broken open and the bolts and nuts were loose everywhere inside the box. The box had also been damaged and I thought for sure there must be some parts missing. Thankfully, after getting everything sorted out, I could see I had the same number of bolts and nuts, so I thought I must have all the parts. I didn't contact etrailer about the substandard packing because I thought all the parts were there, and after all I don't think the seller has a great deal of responsibility in how the the actual shipper smashes up the shipping boxes. The only thing I was shocked about was that there were no instructions. ZERO. I realize it's a pretty straight forward process, But, a few basic instructions would have been helpful. And, after watching a few [online videos], there are plenty of 'helpful hints' that could have been included in the package. After laying out all the loose pieces and figuring out where everything goes, it's fairly straight forward (watch a few [online videos] first, and I don't recommend the one from Morryde, they edit out a couple critical parts the are a pain in the butt to do). I ordered the bolt upgrade as well as the Morryde SRE-4000 suspension with the cross support bar. The box that came a couple days later with the SRE-4000 and cross bar was in perfect shape, had all the contents, but again ZERO instructions. Watched a couple more [online videos] and figured it out. And just FYI, all the parts did NOT fit my Forest River 2916-G Toyhauler. The small 3" bracket plate that goes behind the trailer bracket that holds the new cross piece support bar is too short for that trailer frame. It's not a huge deal to temporarily put the support bar in place and mark the bracket so you can drill a hole through the bracket and then you can use the supplied parts (basically making the parts fit). So, for me this was a 2 day job (4 hours each day) for a 69 year old man with a bad back, working by himself with 2 floor jacks,4 jacket stands, outdoors on a concrete driveway.

Product is great. Packaging is poor. Loose bolt kit in damaged box caused missing items that are needed for install.

by:

Everything looks great. Will not be installing for about a month, as the camper is in winter storage. Quinn was very helpful and professional.

by:

This unit has made the 36 ft. toy hauler fifth wheel tow much smoother. I am very satisfied by the improvement it has made in towing this heavy trailer.

by:

excellent experience fast shipping and great price

by:

The SRE 4000 equalizers made my Jayco Northpoint camper tow better, more stable with much less bouncing than the old CRE 3000. very happy with the product.

Our middle leaf hanger was starting to bend. We bent it. Ack the best we could, welded a couple supports on the frame and installed this to help keep the hanger from bending in again. Was a nice kit that allowed us to upgrade the equalizers while we were at it. Pretty simple install but we did have a little trouble getting the two crossmember pieces to line up just because the one hanger was still a little bent. We were able to get it straightened out and got it all bolted together. Like the piece of mind that this will bring

by:

They are working pretty good now. The first set failed. Maureen had to send me a second set, and I have not gone that far on the new set.

by:

This suspension upgrade really softened the ride things inside the camper are far less jostled

by:

This looks to be a great product and I’m excited to get it installed and take the camper for a test the ride. Unfortunately it will still be winter for awhile here. The equalizer looks like it will really soak up some road bumps with the rubber suspension. And the cross bar will help out with the sway.

by:

Improved the ride of my trailer tremendously!! Stuff is where I put it when I arrive. Was hoping for a lift out of it but got less than 1/2”. The ride quality is enough for 5 stars. Very little chucking now.

by:

THE ORDERING WAS EASY, THE SHIPPING WAS TIMELY, AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXCELLENT.
