What is the Function of the MORryde X-Factor Dropdown Crossmember?

Question:

What is the purpose of the drop down? I have a triple axle Weekend Warrior toy hauler with Dexter EZ-Flex equalizers. I read that the drop down would be needed with the Dexter equalizers but I can see why. Can you please explain? Thanks much,

Expert Reply:

The MORryde X-Factor Dropdown Crossmember for Stock Leaf Spring Suspension item # MR84AR is going to shore up and support your Toy Hauler's frame like a sway bar on a vehicle. It will keep your trailer's suspension from buckling when making tight turns or driving on rough roads. I have attached a picture below and linked a couple of review and installation videos so you can better understand the functions of the X-Factor Crossmember.

I have a more complete suspension upgrade option for your triple axle trailer that includes all of the necessary wet bolts, shackle straps, equalizers, and crossmembers. For a 33" axle spacing you will want the MORryde Rubber Suspension Upgrade for Triple Axle Trailers 5.2K to 7K item # MR67ZR. For 35" axle spacing you will want the MORryde Rubber Suspension Upgrade for Triple Axle Trailers item # MR77ZR. The Rubber equalizers replace your stock equalizers for a smoother ride and the rubber shear springs dampen road shock. These systems provide up to 4" of suspension travel and reduce back-and-forth chucking.
