Matte black, powder coated steel is durable and corrosion resistant and creates a rugged look.Good price, easy enough installation, good product. Bought it to mount my bike rack so I bought it without the wiring harness - I read the electrical install is not fun. Only used it a handful of times but so far so good. The installation was easy enough. Most difficult part was just getting the bolts to 86ftlb while lying on the ground. Would be easier with a friend to help lift the other side while lining up the bolts but wedging a couple pieces of wood on the other side worked fine. Looks good too!
Hitch arrived severely bent (paint is cracking) and doesn’t even come close to fitting on the van. Now I have to figure out how to bend 1/4 inch steel to make it fit.
The video for installation is pretty good but the printed instructions are laughably bad and incorrect.

I do see that this is a confirmed fit for your 2023 Toyota Sienna. It sounds to me like the hitch was flexed when it arrived. You can bend it back into place, by following the instructions in the link below. I have also sent your information over to our customer service department for them to get in touch with you.

The e56RR Trailer Hitch Receiver arrived in a cardboard box with T-1 Wiring harness. The box was slightly damaged but all parts were included. After unpacking the box, I noticed the attaching plates looked bent, Attached are two photos of the Receiver from the under side. The Driver side mounting plate in bent 1.15" when measured 5" from the bar welding and the passenger side plate is bent 0.15" when measured 5" from the bar welding. The pasenger side plate will probably bolt on but the driver's side will need to be straightened before it will fit. Please advise what I should do next. I think both plates were welded on without the bends.

I see from the pictures that were sent that the hitch is what we call flexed. This can happen while in transit to our facility or to you. We do have a great FAQ that provides ways to move the brackets back into alignment so the hitch can be installed. Please see the FAQ link below.

I ended up with the wrong trailer hitch because I made a mistake on ordering it and found the mistake after it shipped I called and was helped ordering the proper one and emailed me a return label so could return it. (done today) tomorrow I will install the proper hitch on our new Toyota Sienna and wire up the trailer lights.

works ok. had some challenges installing as hitch gets bent in storage/shipping. Easy to remedy, but took a while to get help - and it seems to be a common problem.
had to add 4 inch extender/riser. more info about clearance would have been helpful.

Trailer hitch is holding up well. Weve used it a lot and had no issues.
It's a hitch. No issues 1 year later
Nothing wrong with the hitch specifically, but it does hang quite low off the back of the van. This reduces an already short departure angle so it's frequently banging the ground pulling out of parking lots or places with a higher than normal sidewalk.

Toyota Siennas are notorious for having frames that ride close to the ground. Any brand hitch for it will do the same. To help protect the hitch I recommend taking a look at part # RM-050. It can help in parking lots and low driveways.
Fits 2021 Sienna perfectly. Easy install but another set of hands is probably necessary. Seems very well built.

Going strong a year later! Great choice. Noticed that backing down on some steeper inclines like driveways transitioning to the street it can bottom out and scrape but it doesn’t seem like that could have been avoided design-wise and it’s also not that big a problem. Everything else about this hitch has been great. Great finish too no signs of rusting.
