The only difference between the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e56RR and Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C22UR is going to be the powder coating used. The etrailer receiver will have a matte black powder coat while the Curt will have a gloss black powder coat. Since etrailer's receivers are made by Curt the mounting points and material used is all the same and they are both made here in the USA.

Personally I prefer our etrailer receiver as I find the matte black powder coating is more durable and matches better against the black accents on most vehicles. That gives it a more OE look and not something that sticks out. I have linked an installation video for the Curt below and as I said since they are the same hitch it will work for either hitch you choose.

I do recommend installing a Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK69FR when you install the receiver. This will allow you to tow most small trailers with the 4-way flat connector or add Auxiliary Lights # C53201 to a bike rack or cargo carrier that impairs the view of your tail lights. The Mounting Brackets # 18144 and # 18140 will allow you to secure the 4-way connector to the receiver and prevent you from having to drill into the rear fascia or receiver cross tube.
