Completely Hidden for a Clean, Factory Look

The EcoHitch Invisi trailer hitch is designed to be completely out of sight. The hitch cross tube bolts onto your vehicle's frame, behind the body of your vehicle. No drilling or welding is required. The receiver portion of the hitch will sit just behind the factory knockout panel in your bumper. Just pop the panel off to tow and put it back on again for a from-the-factory look when you're done using the hitch.

Eco-Friendly Material

With a combination of aerospace-grade aluminum, steel, and stainless steel, each EcoHitch is made of a strong metal alloy that will stand the test of time. The lightweight alloy is composed of recycled materials. Traditional steel hitch manufacturing can use coal or oil, which can contribute to harmful gas emissions. The EcoHitch's recycled materials limit the carbon footprint during manufacturing, so you get a sturdy trailer hitch while also helping the environment.

Rigorous Strength Testing Ensures Durability

This EcoHitch trailer hitch is tested for durability and sturdiness. Using Finite Elemental Analysis (FEA), individual points of stress on the hitch can be detected and remedied. Designers can accurately test the hitch to ensure that it will meet or exceed SAE J684 standards. The EcoHitch Invisi trailer hitch is carefully researched and strength tested for a durable, high-quality hitch that can resist damage while on the road.

I am used to working on vehicles and installing accessories but this was still an easy install. I loaded a 4'x8' trailer and towed it with my Eco hitch on my 2014 WRX without any issues. Great product I'll be using for many years to come!

  • Weight of Trailer Hitches for 2013 Subaru Impreza WRX STi
We carry two trailer hitches that fit your 2013 Subaru Impreza WRX STi; The EcoHitch # 306-X7279 and the Curt # C11317. The EcoHitch is a more difficult install but has a much better look that the Curt. A reputable shop shouldn't have an issue doing either one though. They likely handle much more complicated repairs than any trailer hitch. The Curt is the heavier of the two, it weighs 36 pounds when packed up to ship. The EcoHitch is less at about 27 pounds for shipping.

  • How to Choose Correct Ball Mount for Towing a Trailer with a 2013 Subaru WRX and EcoHitch
To choose the correct ball mount/hitch ball combo you simply need to measure the height of the top of the inside of your EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7279 when it is installed on your 2013 Subaru WRX Sedan as well as from the ground to the bottom of your trailer coupler (while it is level!). You then just need a ball mount with a drop if the receiver is higher or a rise if the trailer coupler is higher. The ball mount kit # 989900 is a great option because it comes with...

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" Item # C11317 is going to be the easiest to install out of the two hitches available for your 2013 Subaru Impreza WRX Sedan. The second hith is the EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" Item # 306-X7279 which requires the rear fascia to be removed to install. The Curt has a maximum tongue weight of 200 lbs while the EcoHitch has a 300lb maximum tongue weight. Both have a 2000lb gross towing capacity. You...

  • Can a 2013 Subaru Impreza WRX Tow a Trailer with EcoHitch Trailer Hitch Receiver
The EcoHitch Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 306-X7261 for wagon models or part # 306-X7279 for sedan models is a great option for a 2013 Subaru Impreza WRX and will allow you to tow a trailer up to 2,000 lbs. That said, you'd need to confirm the towing capacity in the owner's manual of the vehicle and go by the lower of the two ratings. In order to complete your setup you'd need the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 119250KIT and the etrailer Ball Mount Kit part # 989900.

  • Hitch Receivers for a 2011 Subaru Impreza Sedan 4D?
The receiver hitch for the 2011 Subaru Impreza four door sedan is the EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 306-X7279. This fits the WRX and WRX ST models. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C11120 you referenced is a confirmed fit for a 2011 Subaru Impreza 5-Door Wagon with quad exhaust. This one does not fit the four door sedans.

  • Is There A Dirt Bike Carrier That Fits A 1-1/4 Inch Hitch Receiver
I have a solution for you, however, it will require a new hitch receiver. Class 1 hitches, like the one you have, have a max tongue weight of 100-150 pounds. So you will not be able to use the actual hitch receiver to carry the amount of weight you want to. Adapters take even more away from the max tongue weight capacity. This is why you cannot find any carriers that will fit a 1-1/4 inch receiver, they are just to heavy and unsafe. You would have to replace the actual hitch receiver...

As long as your 2011 Subaru WRX hatchback isn't a STI model we have the EcoHitch part # 306-X7261 that fits with the quad exhaust which is a hidden hitch with a 2 inch opening or we have the Curt part # C11120 which is a 1-1/4 inch hitch.

  • Trailer Hitch for 2012 Subaru WRX With Receiver That Fits Through Cutout in Bumper Fascia
When installed, the Curt # C11317 receiver tube would sit right under the bottom edge of the rear bumper fascia. It would not use the cutout in the bumper cover. We do offer a hitch that would install in that manner, though. The EcoHitch # 306-X7279 would indeed install so that the receiver would fit through the cutout you describe. The hitch also includes a magnetic cover that would conceal the receiver opening when the hitch isn't being used. For a trailer wiring harness, you'll want...
