Everything fit as expected and install went smoothly.
Fits my 2016 Ford Police Interceptor Sedan. There are a couple of additional exhaust hangers on my vehicle as compared with the how-to videos for the Taurus. You may need to remove the muffler hangers to be able to pull the bolts through with the guide wire. The rear bolts behind the bumper were difficult to align with 1/2" holes. I wonder if the instructions could call for larger holes. The unit weighs about 45 pounds, so I needed help holding it in place while threading the nuts. My daughter helped with that part, and I did the rest myself. Took about 3 hours. (I don't typically do this kind of thing.) I would give 5 stars, but the hitch plate was welded crookedly to the rest of the unit. Fortunately, the hitch tube itself was apparently crooked in the opposite direction, so the result was a level hitch. I only plan to use it for a bike rack and such, so I'm not very concerned about this. The paint is also missing on several edges and isn't consistently smooth. Again, not a big concern for me, but something else to look at quality-wise.
Mounting, the MaxFrame 75670 Trailer Hitch, on 2017 Ford Taurus was a little tricky however the Video on mounting was spot on.
The spring tool (provided) for the two hidden bolts worked perfectly.
I now transport the wife's power mobility scooter when ever we are out and about. And I no longer have to disassemble and man handle the scoooter into and out of the trunk.

With the scooter carrier in place it carries the load great with or without the scooter.bought a clamp to eliminate the rattle I was getting from slack in the hook up.
I had the hitch professionally installed. They had some issues running the electric all the way to the battery. Otherwise they reported no problems. It fits like the instructions said. The hitch was shipped and arrived at my installer as promised. I would use etrailer again.

Very solid hitch. Arrived in perfect condition with all the hardware needed. I watched the installation video for installation on my 2013 Taurus which was a big help. The installation went perfectly with only slight drilled hole modifications for bolt alignment. I did the installation by myself, and did not have the car on a lift, so it took about an hour and a half which was not bad, as most of the time was just disconnecting the exhaust and positioning the hitch. I would not hesitate buying another hitch for my Chevy and if i do, it will come from etrailer. Great company, EXCELLENT communications, and very fast shipment. Couldn't be happier. By the way, I also purchased the locking hitch pin, a bike rack, and padlocks all from etrailer. Very happy with these purchases too!!!!! If you are looking around for a better deal, just stop, and buy here, you won't regret it.
Thank you for the opportunity to provide this review. I should point out that I have 2012 Ford Taurus SEL, and the videos referenced 2011 and 2013 models.
The installation went off almost without a hitch, no pun intended. One issue did occur...there were two (2) holes that needed to be drilled out to 1/2". I drilled out both holes (left and right). During fit-up, my friend and I noticed that the slot on the hitch did not coincide with the drilled out hole on the left side of the vehicle (left when facing forward from the rear of the vehicle). The drilled out hole was a little too far inboard (towards the centerline of the vehicle) to be of use. We noticed that we could drill an additional 1/2" hole using the hitch slotted hole as a guide. We had enough material between the holes to prevent future tearout. We drilled the additional 1/2' hole, using the hitch slotted hole as a guide. Installation was textbook following that slight modification.

Product fit perfect on my 2010 Taurus. It’s heavy duty, good quality, welds look good, and no missing paint.
It was a little tricky installing the hitch. With some effort tho, most people could do the install themselves.
Great product, love the how to videos. Draw-tites instructions suck. Only complaint is the hitch had some scratches. Think it could be easily avoided with some more cardboard wrapped around the hitched below the plastic wrap. But other than that it's great!

This hitch has a capacity of 400 pound of vertical tongue weight and a towing capacity of 4,000 pounds when using a weight distribution system.
Great service. Great product. Great price. Been on my car for a year now and works like a champ so far.
Great product. Had a small amount of difficulty getting the rear bolts to find the holes but it wasn’t overly difficult. Overall it’s something nearly anyone could install.
Well engineered and built. 1/2 hour install time. It is a rarity to find any product of this quality. Thank for your effort in providing a high quality product.
