2015 Kia Rio

I needed a hitch for my 2009 Kia Rio. I purchased it through etrailer.com. It arrived in about 4 days with free shipping. I decided to install it. I backed my car up onto a couple stepping stones to give me a little extra floor clearance. 15 minutes later it is installed into my preset bolt holes in my frame. What a piece of cake! It works for my bike rack and it is nice looking and a perfect fit.

Hyundai Accent

Quick overviewI bought the hitch recently and very satisfied with what I got. I bought it to carry a bike rack and it works just fine.
The hitch looks solid and reliable.
I'm sure there are no any issues with pulling a small trailer too. I just don't think Hyundai Accent is a right car for pulling :)

I ordered both - the hitch and the bike rack. Both came in time, packed well. No issues with the delivery. The installation procedure is very easy too - 4 screws and that's it. I did it by myself, no assistance. I had to use my kid's small stool for supporting one side while I was working on the other side. Of course, it could be easier if there is another pair of hands holding a hitch while you are working with the screws.
Sorry for my English, but I think the idea is clear.

Regards,
Sergey.

2009 Kia Rio

I ordered this Curt hitch a year ago for my 2009 Kia Rio Sedan and have been very pleased (as always) with etrailer's service and products. Installation was a breeze. I have used the hitch mostly for a multi-bicycle rack and have not pulled any trailers or large loads. The hitch fits well and never drags the ground. I'm a very happy customer and will return to etrailer in the future.

The listing was unclear if it would fit on my model or just other models of the same car. I should've never risked it. I held onto it for a year trying to find someone to help me get it to fit before I threw it away. No idea if the product is any good.

This hitch is a fit for the 2006 Hyundai Accent, the 2007 - 2011 Hyundai Accent Sedan, and the 2006 - 2011 Kia Rio Sedan.

2009 Honda Civic

I can’t believe how fast it was to install it. It took less than 30 minutes to install it on my 2009 Hyundai Civic GLS. The bolts look sturdy and the trailer hitch looks like it is part of the car from the factory. Amazing. I just installed it, so everything looks perfect. I will see how it is later. There is one bad thing. It would have been perfect if they would have added a heat shield as it is closer to the exhaust pipe. I will do that myself, but it would have been very useful to have it on it already, even if would have costed a bit extra.

2009 Hyundai Accent

The hitch for my 2009 Hyundai Accent is perfect. All I want to do is haul around a little trailer for weekend trips to Home Depot and other times the work or product will not fit in the car. Easy to install and very well built.

by:

So easy a monkey could install it. One side was held up by the tail pipe while I started the bolts in the opposite side. Made it an extremely easy installation.

  • Can a 2007 Hyundai Accent Pull a Trailer and What Parts Are Needed
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11094 which is a fit for your 2007 Hyundai Accent (Sedan) has a maximum gross trailer weight rating of 2,000 lbs. Therefore, so long as the weight of the golf cart and trailer do not exceed this figure which I think is reasonable to assume and the vehicle is rated high enough then yes, you can use this hitch to tow a golf cart on a trailer. In order to complete your towing setup you are also going to need a trailer wiring harness, the Hopkins Plug-In...

  • Trailer Hitch Fits for 2009 Kia Rio
For the 2009 model year, Kia manufactured the Rio sedan and the Rio 5 door hatchback. Either vehicle would use a unique hitch. For the Rio sedan, I'd recommend the Curt # C11094, but we do not currently(October 2023) have a hitch for the Rio 5 hatchback.

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch For 2007 Kia Rio
You came to the right place. We try stay up to date with our information on vehicles and hitches and what is designed to fit. If your 2007 Kia Rio is a sedan we have the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit # C11094. This is a Class l hitch and has a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening. If you are planning on doing some light towing and need a 2 inch hitch ball I recommend part # 19258. If you need a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball the number you need is part # 19256. If you need trailer wiring...

  • Why There Isnt a Class III Hitch Available For 2008 Hyundai Accent
All of the hitches available for the 2008 Hyundai Accent are Class I 1-1/4 inch hitch receivers because of its limited towing capacity. The Accent's weight capacity is 849 pounds including cargo, occupants and tongue weight. The hitch manufacturers do not want their customers to exceed the vehicle's tongue weight rating so they only manufacture lower tongue weight rated hitches for those vehicles. All the hitches available for the Accent have a 200 lb tongue weight limit. If the Accent...

  • How to Transport Hobi TI Kayak with 2008 Hyundai Accent
That's a lot of weight to put on the roof of a vehicle. Your best option will be to tow a small trailer like the CE Smith Boat Trailer part # CE48810 since the weight of your kayak is more than what your roof and kayak carriers are designed to accomodate. For a hitch you'd need the part # C11094 with ball mount # 3594 for if you have a hatchback or part # 24760 with ball mount # 3590 for if you have a sedan. For a hitch ball you'd then want the # 19258 which matches the coupler size of...

  • Hitch Recommendation for a 2007 Kia Rio for Light Towing
Since you are planning on doing some light towing with your 2007 Kia Rio sedan I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11094. To complete the towing setup you will also need a ball mount and part # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball and/or # 19258 for a 2 inch hitch ball. For trailer wiring you would want the part # 119178KIT. I am sorry, we don't have kits on our site, but we are always readily available to create you a custom kit like this. Just...

  • Is There Drilling Required to Install a Hitch in a 2007 Kia Rio
There is no drilling required to install the Curt hitch part # C11094 on your 2007 Kia Rio. Basically you will just raise the hitch into position and then bolt it into place. I attached a link to the install instructions for this hitch for you to check out as well.

  • Adapter to Use 2 Inch Bike Carrier on 1-1/4 Inch Class I Trailer Hitch for a 2009 Kia Rio Sedan
You could use adapter # HTAD to go from a Class I, 1-1/4 inch hitch to a 2 inch accessory. However, doing so will reduce the tongue weight capacity of the trailer hitch by 50 percent. On your 2009 Kia Rio all the hitches are rated for 200 pounds tongue weight so by using the adapter it would be reduced to 100 pounds. The combined weight of the bikes and carrier cannot exceed 100 pounds. Because of this I recommend a carrier that is designed for a Class I hitch such as # S63360. I have linked...
