Can a 2007 Hyundai Accent Pull a Trailer and What Parts Are Needed
Question:
Would it handle a golf cart on a trailer
asked by: James
Expert Reply:
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11094 which is a fit for your 2007 Hyundai Accent (Sedan) has a maximum gross trailer weight rating of 2,000 lbs. Therefore, so long as the weight of the golf cart and trailer do not exceed this figure which I think is reasonable to assume and the vehicle is rated high enough then yes, you can use this hitch to tow a golf cart on a trailer.
In order to complete your towing setup you are also going to need a trailer wiring harness, the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # HM11143944 which is the only plug and play harness available for your vehicle and a ball mount/hitch ball, the Curt Class II Drawbar part # C45521 with the 1-7/8" Hitch Ball part # 19256 or the 2" Hitch Ball part # 19258.
