Today we're going to be taking a look at the 2-5/16" Hitch Ball for Equalizer Weight Distribution Systems. The trailer hitch ball is designed for use with Equalizer Weight Distribution Systems. Equalizer hitch ball products exceed SAE J684 testing and certification. The unit's made from a very sturdy steel construction, and it's going to feature a durable, rust-resistant, double-chrome plating. The lock washer and the nut are included. Right here on the platform, you can see that it has two sides that are flat.
These are wrench flats that help make the installation much easier. When installing, you want to be sure to do so according to the instructions printed on the tag that comes with the ball. That's where you're going to find the proper torque rating for the installation. The hitch ball diameter is 2-5/16". When it comes to the dimensions of the shank, it's going to give us a diameter of 1-1/4", and it's going to give us a length measurement of about 2-1/4".

It's a heavyweight hitch ball. Not sure what else to say. I use it on a 31 ft Travel Trailer (1,200 plus tongue weight). It does what's supposed to do.
Product arrived intact and as advertised. The small box containing the heavy ball was loose inside a much larger box with inadequate packing material. The ball was obvious bouncing around inside the larger box during shipping. Poor packing job.
Excellent customer service. I inadvertently ordered the wrong ball and called before it shipped. Cailee V. Was able to help me out with the correct hitch ball. They even threw in expedited shipping. Overall, a great experience.

I bought a 12,000 lb rated Equal-i-zer weight distribution system from a different retailer, but they installed the wrong rated ball. etrailer had the correct ball at good price. I can't wait until summer to use it.
