Enclosed Trailer equipment racks feature a hook design at the top of the rack that allows them to hang from the metal frame runner at the top of the side walls on the trailer for added strength. They are predrilled so that they may be screwed securely to the wall. The unique and durable "Hammered" paint finish will last for many years.

Video Transcript for Rack'Em Beverage Cooler Rack for Enclosed or Open Trailers Review

Today on our trailers we're going to take a look at the install and operation of the Rack 'Em beverage cooler rack for enclosed or open trailers, part number RA-18. This holder can hold three or five-gallon water cooler or tank sprayers. Has a unique, durable, hammered-paint finish to prevent rust and corrosion. Now for enclosed trailers we're going to use the two pieces. We've got a hook side that will hook to the top of the wall, or in this case there's been a piece of 2 by 6 added to our wall that's been back cut on a 45 to allow for the hook to attach to the 2 by 6 instead of the top of the wall. It's got the button-style hook here on the top piece, and then our bottom piece has the round hole and slot. We can simply slide it into place.

Now that by itself is enough to hold it to the wall. However, we also have some pre-drilled holes where we can use some screws to really hold it tight to the wall. Next we'll go ahead and load up our water cooler and set it up onto the rack, bring the strap around, and feed it into the buckle. Now with both straps secured our water cooler is nice and secured to the wall so it's up and out of the way. Here on our open or utility trailer we've got our pre-drilled mounting holes here in the bottom that we can use to secure it to the top rail. There's actually a couple pre-drilled holes that line up real nicely. Now you do note that the hardware is not included.

Now once we have it secured to our trailer we'll go ahead and set our cooler in place. Once I have them pulled tight going to take the excess and secure it underneath the strap, and we're ready to hit the road. That will conclude our install and operation of the Rack 'Em beverage cooler rack for enclosed or open trailers, part number RA-18. .

Great product, great customer service, and easy installation. I own a lawn care company and tried these for our trailers, works great, no more sliding cooler or lifting and moving it around to get to.

The product seems solid. I just mounted them today and everything looked good. The only suggestion I have would be to add a screw you can use to put in the bottom to help hold the mounts on the wall and keep from sliding.

by:

The clips broke off within 4 months.

  • What Type of Mounting Hardware Should Be Used For Rack'Em Enclosed Trailer With 3/8" Plywood Walls?
With the Rack'Em products like the Beverage Cooler Rack # RA-18 on 3/8" plywood you will want to use a type of hollow wall anchor to ensure the bolts do not pull out of the walls. You should have a small gap behind the plywood which will allow you to use a wall anchor. Anchors are much less likely to pull out of the plywood versus using screws/lags which can loosen/pull out over time due to the bouncing your trailer will experience. If you do not have a gap behind your plywood you will...
