If your vehicle is stuck in off-road terrain and has lost the traction it needs to escape, this recovery strap will help pull it free. The strap is designed to stretch and recoil. This means that when it is put under tension, the strap stretches until snapping back to its resting length, "slingshotting" the vehicle out of its jam.
This recovery strap has a reinforced loop at either end for securing to the tow vehicle and the recovery vehicle. Once the strap is attached, slowly move the recovery vehicle away from the stuck vehicle. This will initiate the stretch and recoil action and pull the stuck vehicle free.

Hello, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Erickson recovery strap with reinforced loop ends 10 by 30 feet long rated for 62,500 pounds of max vehicle weight. Now, this nylon reinforced loop in is very strong. It's gonna be long lasting, quick and easy to latch. It's got a high tenacity nylon overlay, which helps prevent wear and tear on the pool area. So again, it's got double stitching here, very flexible here, but a nice rigid loop there on the end.
It is heavy duty, two-ply webbing. It can stretch an additional 10%, which essentially slingshots out your stuck vehicle. Overall, the strap itself is 10 inches wide. And if we we inchesre to roll this guy out, it would be 30 feet long. Its maximum load break strength is 125,000 pounds, whereas the maximum vehicle weight is rated for 62,500 pounds.
So again, the weight of the stuck vehicle must not exceed this maximum weight. Now, if your vehicle is stuck, you know, in like off-road terrain, maybe on the farm or something like that, or you lost traction, you need to escape, again, this recovery strap will help you pull it free. Very heavy duty. Again, it's got that stretch and recoil design. So when you're stuck, you put it under tension.

I purchased these straps for our equipment (dozer , Excavator) for when we happen to get stuck. The strap does good as far as the weight..... BUT..... The material has frayed too easy and we are watching them closely as far as pulling them out of service. Be sure to keep the strap in a storage bag and keep it as clean as possible.
