Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this VIAIR TLC light 105 psi portable air compressor kit. Now this kit will let you inflate your bicycle or vehicle's tires using this portable air compressor. It does connect directly to your vehicle's 12 volt power port, and it gives you maximum pressure of 105 psi. The compressor charges up to that 105 psi and it'll store enough air to provide a blast for seating any tubeless bicycle tires, and it is capable of inflating vehicle tires up to 225 60 r18 tire sizes. Does include everything shown here on the table.
It includes the air compressor right here. It's in this nice steel case. If we pop off the lid you can see it has the power cord with it. And then the air hose right here. Does also come with a 30 foot long coiled air hose.
Comes with this shop style inflator has this built in 120 psi pressure gauge. Right here is a 10 inch long, 90 degree twist-on schrader valve attachment. This attachment here is for the presta valves. It's a re-buildable press to head attachment. And this is the presta valve adapter when using for presta valves.
Now, most of your tires will use schrader valves, but there's a lot of bicycles that do use presta valves, and that's what this adapter and head is for. Also comes with three in accessory inflation tips right here, you can see it comes with a needle valve, and then two plastic valves also to air up any toys or water accessories. It does come with this nice carrying case that'll handle all your accessories and hoses in this. At the end of the video, I'm gonna show how it all goes into this case. Now as we mention if you notice this compressor does come in a nice rugged steel case.
Has a nice handle on it for transporting, and it is powered by plugging this into your 12 volt power port in your vehicle. The cord on this power cord is about 10 foot long to reach most power ports, and it does have a built in power switch right here. And what I am going to do is go ahead and hook this up. I have a 12 volt power port back here, and if I plug this in all the way, and then again there's your switch. And you see by pushing it on, by pushing it off gives you the noise level. And we'll just turn it off. Also, it's nice on the bottom of this case it has these rubber feet, so that when it does vibrate it will stay in one place. You can see it'll vibrate and it won't move all the way around. Now the compressor does require a power port of 15 amps. Now most automotive power ports will handle up to 15 amps. Some of them in some vehicles might be less than that. If they are less, it will not operate this compressor. Now the accessory tips I showed you, they are integrated into the body of this compressor, so you don't lose those. And we did mention it comes with the presta valve adapter for applications where you need it for presta valve. The coiled hose right here, it's 30 feet in length when it's extended all the way out, has the quick connectors on each end. The inflator here has the 120 psi gauge it's built in, gives you an accurate reading. You can just have your lever here of your air pressure, and also on the side as a nice bleeder valve that you can push to decrease the air pressure. Now this 10 inch long rubber air hose has a twist on chuck so it allows nice secure connection to your schrader valve stem. And as we mentioned it comes with this re-buildable presta head attachment that could be taken apart and cleaned, and it's for press to valves on your bicycle tires. And again, it's the reason it's re-buildable, you can take it apart and clean it easily. And then again, this rugged carrying bag for easy transport. Now the specs on this, the voltage is 12 volts. Maximum amp is 15 amps. Maximum air pressure 105 psi. Maximum air flow on this is 1.61 cubic feet per minute, and the duty cycle is 10% at 100 psi which will be six minutes on and 54 minutes off. The weight of this unit is only about 4 1/2 pounds. The length end to end is 9 5/8 inches. The width 4 5/16 inches wide. And the overall height is right at seven inches tall. So what I'm gonna do is we're gonna go ahead and show you just all this cord and everything pretty much stores in its own pop-on lid, just like that. Then here's your handle for that. And then for your accessories, you have this nice durable carrying bag. You can zip all the way open. And then you can take your 30-foot-long hose here. You can see that all curl right up in there. And you can take your inflator, we're gonna put that in there. Take your other hose which will fit right in there. And then your other accessories you can just drop 'em right in there. And then once you get it like that just go ahead and take it, it has two zippers, one on each side, so you can zip it totally closed. And then you have a nice little handle on it to carry all the pieces just like that. But that should do it for the review on the VIAIR TLC light 105 psi portable air compressor..
