Hello everybody this is Jeff at etrailer.com, today we're gonna take a look at this Viair 60 PSI Portable Air Compressor Kit. Now this kit here will let you inflate your vehicle's tires using this powerful portable air compressor that'll connect directly to your vehicles, 12 volt power port right here. Now the maximum air pressure this compressor will give you a 60 PSI, so it's perfect for any tires that are 31 inch diameter and smaller, and it does work on most standard vehicle tires. Just to give you an idea, the fill rate if you hook this up to an 18 inch tire and put in 30 to 40 PSI, takes about one minute. Now, it does include everything shown here on the table, it includes the air compressor, the built in 100 PSI pressure gauge, the three foot long air hose, 10 foot long power cord, nice carrying case for keeping everything together, three inflation tips, and even a Presta valve adapter. Now, the 12 volt plug right here on this compressor, this will plug directly into the power port on your vehicle, it is a 10 foot long cord to reach most power ports.

And just to show you, we're gonna go ahead and plug that into a 12 volt power port back here. So with the plugged in, if you'll be able to see right here on the end, it has this nice LED work light, and that light is also a power indicator, so in other words, when you plug that cord in if that light is lit up, that's letting you know that this compressor is getting power. Now one thing I do wanna mention is this compressor will require a power port of 15 amps. Now most automotive power ports do handle up to 15 amps but there are some out there that might be less than 15 amps. If you plug this in, it will not operate it does need at least 15 amps to operate.

The gauge we talked about 100 PSi gauge, it's built into the body of the unit, gives you a nice accurate reading. You can see it has a nice long three foot air hose with a solid brass twist on chuck, so it allows a secure connection to your valve stem. Basically, when you put this onto your valve stem, you just screw it on so it holds it into place. Now it does come with some extra accessory tips, and what's nice about it, I have them laid out here, but I'm gonna show you when we go to pack it away, that these accessory tips clip right onto this compressor, so it's integrated into the body so they don't get lost. And it does even include this Presta valve adapter, and that's for applications where the valve would not be a Schrader valve.

A lot of your valve stems are all Schrader valves, but there are some bikes that use Presta valves, and what you'd have to do is screw this in, and then you'll be able to put air into those. We mentioned the carrying bag here, it's a nice rugged carrying bag for easy transport. Now I do want to turn it on just so you can hear the noise level of this. We got it plugged in and also what's nice on this, it has these rubber feet on here that you can see it'll help when it's, if there's any little vibration keeps, protects the compressor from any damage. Now the specs on this, again, the voltage requires 12 volts, maximum amp wattage draw is 15 amps.

The maximum air pressure 60 PSI, maximum air flow is 1.26 cubic feet per minute. And the duty cycle on this is 20 minutes at 30 PSI. The weight of this unit is only a little over four pounds about 4.3 pounds. And last thing is some dimensions, and then we're gonna put it away in the carrying bag. So the overall length, if we go from one end to the other end, is gonna be right at nine and one eight inches. the height, very top is five and five eight inches. And the width of it, the top is the widest point it's about three and one eight inches wide. So what we're gonna do is we're gonna go ahead and unplug it, and I'm gonna show you, what you can do is you can put your, there's little clips right here, you can just clip that in there, slide in your needle valve, and clip that right into place. And then on the other side, have a place for clipping that. And in your Presta valve, they don't have a place on there, you would just have to put that in there. So then what you'll wanna do just go ahead and drop this into the bag, go ahead and get your hose, line that up a little bit tighter so you can stick it right in the front there. And then take your power cord, drop it right in the back there, and then just zipper this all the way around. And there you go all the way around, and then you have a nice handle to carry it with. So you got everything all included in this bag, so you can carry it around or stored in your vehicle. But that should do it for the review on this Viair 60 PSI Portable Air Compressor Kit..
