Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Tow-Rax L-Track. This L-track is going to provide tie down anchor points for securing your cargo on the wall or floor of your trailer, truck or van. This is also going to work great in your garage or workshop. Really anywhere that you need a tie down point.
This will work with L-track and O-track anchors such as the one that you see on the screen there. And this will also work with hooks, straps and accessories. This does have the O-shaped slots that will allow you to mount this horizontally or vertically. So that's gonna give you more options than a standard E-track would. So you're going to have more variety of choices on how you can get this placed.
This does have the tapered design, as you can see there. So it is going to allow wheels to easily roll over the track when mounted on the floors. That's gonna help reduce tripping hazards. It's going to be a nice smooth slope there. This is constructed of a black anodized aluminum so it is going to be corrosion resistant.
So it's going to be very strong; gives us a maximum load or brake strength. If you have it mounted onto the wall, the maximum a load is going to be 4,000 pounds if you're using a single stud anchor. It's going be 6,000 pounds if you're using a double stud anchor and then if you have it mounted to the floor, it is going to have a maximum load of 2000 pounds. As far as our dimensions go, this is going to be right at 18 inches long. I'll show you that with my tape measurer here.
You can see right at 18 inches long. Our width, we're looking at two and 5/8ths of an inch. And then our height, approximately 7/16ths of an inch tall. It's going to be very easy to get this installed. They do not include the mounting hardware, but you can use either screws or rivets to get this mounted in place. These mounting holes are counter sunk, quarter-inch diameter holes that will allow the anchors to glide smoothly across the track without snagging or stopping. So you want to make sure that you are using the hardware for that counter sunk design to make sure it is going to work properly. The distance between our mounting holes here; as we can see on the back, we're looking at approximately seven inches, center to center. One thing that you could add on to this, in addition to the anchors, is going to be end caps that are going to plug in very easily onto the end to provide a nice finished look and help prevent any snagging on these hard edges here. But overall, a really nice option if you are looking to add some anchor points to your trailer, garage or other application. This will do a great job for you. That completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael, with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
