Great product! Very sturdy! However, the rack hangs over the door further than desired and I have hit my head multiple times. I accept responsibility after the first time, but man does it hurt like crazy!! If the rack was just a few inches shorter on either side I never would have to worry about it.

Good value over yakima which i ordered initially. Would recommend for light use...I put kayaks, yakima rocket box and bikes up there.1175795

It arrived when it should. The parts were all there. The directions were clear each step. It took me about 3-4 hours (stopping, starting) to get it together for the 1st time. Now that the crossbars are together & decals set for placement w/o having to measure again (SOOOPER helpful), I can install / remove the bars in less than 10 minutes.1608804

This roof rack kit is a high-quality product that shows good design and application engineering. It is far sturdier than one I installed on my wife's car. When carrying a load of lumber at least equal to the rated capacity, there was no deflection of the cross rails and the unit never budged at highway speeds.

There were not many models that explicitly were said to fit a 2015 Ford C-Max (US version), so I bought these. The one-time assembly chore required time and attention, but the instructions are excellent. Read the instructions through several times before you begin (as is always a good practice). Once complete, I found the fit to be excellent. Removal and re-installation after the initial setup is simple. The very clever "torque wrench" supplied with the kit makes sure re-installations are tightened properly.

I took off one star because they are quite expensive, so value for money isn't excellent. If you want a cheap thing to use infrequently, these probably aren't what you want. That said, the units show no signs of deterioration after a year on the car, so you are buying quality. If you leave yours on the car between uses as I do, lubricate the locks and working hardware every six months or so.616694

These units are still solid as a rock. In the salt air environment here, some of the black paint has come off, but the metal underneath has not rusted yet. This is really very good durability for a climate such as ours, where I have had stainless steel products rust in a few weeks or months. In most situations I can envision, you will be happy with the quality and function of this product.

Fits my 2013 Ford C-Max Energi perfectly and seems quite sturdy and durable. Installation was a bit confusing because some of the markings on the parts were extremely faint and difficult to see. But once I figured out what each part was, the process was pretty straightforward. All in all this is an exceptional deal for a product that more than adequately replaces what the big name brands (T***e or Y****a) have to offer and and a much more affordable price.

I have had the rack for a year now and to be perfectly honest, my original review is still dead on. I have absolutely zero complaint about this rack. I dont leave the rack on all the time, so Im attaching and removing it on a regular basis. Its easy to use and rock solid for carrying bikes. Ive used it with no issues with 3 bikes, even fairly heavy mountain bikes.

This was a great purchase. I originally ordered roof crossbars from somewhere else and immediately returned them. They were a universal fit and were not secure at all when they were tightened down. They were from a third seller on Amazon. I found these on etrailer and I am glad that I made the purchase. I did not want to spend the money at first that these cost, but am glad that I did. The install was easy and the crossbars are very secure and hold up well with the cargo basket installed. They were well worth the money. Can't wait to try them out when we go camping. Takes a little while to assemble the rack bars.
The stickers are great I can mark the positions after measuring the distance between the bars.
One of the screws is underneath the bar; it is hard to reach to tighten the bars.
Finally, I got the roof rack installed and it looks good.1444198

Pretty nice rack system. Held up to my 90lb canoe no problem. However a piece did fly off on the highway and the "locking" bar end cap can pull off super easy.
The directions were ok. There is some stuff you have to kind of figure out for yourself, mainly the roof trim. I plan to leave the rack on so I drilled theough the trim1584486

Just followed all the etrailer website prompts for my naked roof Toyota Matrix and it set me up with the three packages needed- rails legs and fitkit. Installed easily enough. I like the little arrow stickers hidden in the door jams for fast re-install later. Held two 10’ kayaks on a 2 hr journey with ease.1588992

This is a perfect fit for our 2015 Prius V with "naked" roof. Instructions were clear and accurate, and the bars are solid and able to support our canoe and kayak easily. We added the air deflector, as there was a bit of wind noise, but now there is none. Great product at much lower price than the big names.1567452

This was the kit for my 2020 equinox. The spacing of the feet on the vortex aero bars was incorrect I had to use the Euro sizes. Went back and forth with customer service trying to get confirmation that was the right size but it never was confirmed. Everything is installed now and sturdy.1565303

Seemed to work well with my 2012 Kia Soul. I have only had it on my car for a day at writing this so I can't really give it five stars. I would bump it up to five stars once its been on for a few months. Easy to install, and after doing a bit of research Etrailer.com Had the best deal, and support for installation.1555537

Once installed the product is very sturdy and looks great. But the directions are hard to follow because of the separate components and would have been really tough without the video which was great. I have one problem, how can I eliminate the annoying wind sound when driving when nothing on the rack. I saw a video where wrapping a line around the crossbar can help. It has helped a lot but not completely. Is there another secret for this?3137952
