Largest Cargo Box To Clear Rear Hatch On a 2016 Toyota 4Runner
Question:
Hi, If I get the XXL for my 2016 4runner, will it clear the lift gate? If so, with how much room to spare? Just wanted to make sure I can open the rear door with this thing on it before investing heavily in a very large box. Thanks,

I do have an option for you but the Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box part # TH629907 is about 1/2" too large to clear the rear hatch on your 2016 Toyota 4Runner. Therefore, it would only allow you to open this about 95% of the way. The largest cargo box we have that will clear the rear hatch is the Inno Phantom 466 Rooftop Cargo Box part # INBRM466BK which will give you 18 cubic feet of storage space and around 1/4" of clearance from your rear hatch while the bars are in the forward most position.

Does the Inno Phantom fit on the 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan GT? I see a video for the 2016, i wondered if it works the same on the 2018? Thank you.
