Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

Today we're going to take a look at the SmartStraps KMOX 27 foot long Ratchet Tie-Down Strap with the Double J Hooks and has a 3,333 pound working load limit. Now this tie-down strap will let you secure cargo in your truck bed or trailer. Uses this ratchet mechanism right here, makes it very easy to tighten and maintain tension on your strap. Has a nice molded padded power grip handle, which will provide maximum leverage while you're tightening or loosening your strap. In the middle right in here that you pull up on, there's a release pull, and this will let you loosen the strap when you're ready to unload. In other words, if you just pull up on this, pull, pull it all the way to this and push it down, that'll loosen it.
You can pull out as much as you need, and then when you're ready to load, just snap it back in and ratchet it.And then once you get it ratcheted as tight as it can be, then just pull up on that pull and put it the other way and that'll lock it into place. Keep it from winding out. The handle has nice durable stamped steel rails. They do use these protective hex caps right here to help keep the ratchet mechanism clean, and the webbing on it is a smart web web link which is stronger and more abrasion resistant than standard webbing. You can see this when it has a nice cammo design to it.
It has extra long webbing on this attachment end for hard to reach anchor points. Does use the plated steel double J hooks. On each end I'll let you anchor the strap, turning rails, edges or other similar tie-down points. Strap dimensions is two inches wide, 27 foot long. Maximum load or break strength is 10,000 pounds, and as I mentioned, safe working load limit would be 3,333 pounds. It is for a quantity of one tie-down.
And one note I do want to mention on tie down straps, they must be chosen according to their safe working load limit. The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined working load limit of the straps that are being used. So for an example, if you're using straps that have a working load limit of 500 pounds each to tie down and load, that weighs a thousand pounds, then you'll at need at least two straps to safely secure that load. And it is recommended that you always use straps in pairs. Again, just to pull up and loosen it.
Then we'll put it back in the ratchet position, and you can use the ratchet to tighten it up. But that should do it for the review on the SmartStraps KMOX 27 foot long Ratchet Tie-Down Strap with these Double J Hooks.
