Protect your RV slide-out from debris and keep moisture out of your siding with this slide-topper awning. Prevents water damage and mildew. Made for slide-outs that measure up to 7'7" from edge to edge. Includes all necessary components.
Features:
Specs:
To ensure you get the correct size awning for your slide-out, measure from outer edge to outer edge of the trim. You will need 7" of clearance on both sides of the slide-out for the awning. If you don't have 7" clearance on both sides, go down to the next size; this will still give your slide-out plenty of coverage.
If there are two slide-outs next to each other, you will need a total of 14" of clearance between them for them both to have a slide-out awning. Again, you can go down a size if you are low on space.
Without a slide-topper, the roof of your slide-out room is continually exposed and can accumulate leaves and bugs and different types of debris. That debris can build up along the rubber strip at the top of your box, preventing a firm seal when your slide-out is retracted. Rain water can then get in and pool on the top of your slide-out. If you don't clear the water off each time it rains, mold can begin to form. And when your slide-out is pulled in, that mold gets inside your RV.
The Solera RV slide-out awning alleviates those problems by serving as a protective covering over the top of your RV's slide-out. Not only does it prevent debris from collecting on the roof of your slide-out, but it keeps water from pooling and potentially causing damage down the road. Because it mounts directly to the front of the slide box, the slide-out awning is able to automatically extend and retract every time the slide-out room is extended or retracted.
The durable awning fabric holds up to the rigors of the outdoors. It's made of premium 13.5-oz vinyl, which is an upgrade over the 10-oz fabric used in many awnings. This fabric also features heat-welded seams to prevent leaks. And it is made to withstand cold temperatures down to -25 degrees Fahrenheit, so it won't crack or degrade during the winter.
Use the self-tapping screws to secure the included access plate to the side of your slide-out, positioning the plate at the bottom of the T-molding. The two access brackets slide easily onto the access plate's track. The rods that are located at each end of the roller tube, which comes with the awning fabric already mounted, slide through the hole in the two access brackets.
The included awning rail is used to anchor the other side of the fabric to your RV. This rail can be mounted up to 5" above the trim on top of your slide box.
Note: It's important that the slide-topper sits at as steep an angle as possible so that any rainwater will drain immediately. Any water that sits in the awning can stretch out the fabric permanently and warp it out of shape.

Protect your RV slide-out from debris and keep moisture out of your siding with this slide-topper awning. Prevents water damage and mildew. Made for slide-outs that measure up to 7'7" from edge to edge. Includes all necessary components.I would like to leave a positive review (5 stars) for the Solera Slide Toppers that I bought from Etrailer.
I bought the 12.5" and 8" both white with white hardware. I was trying to find where to leave the review
on the web site but was unable to do so..
I have to say, they were very easy to install. Anyone who can use a hand drill and a caulk gun can install these.
I put them on in only a few short hours and they turned out very nice. I posted it to a page on FB and got over 121
thumbs up and around 60 positive comments. Folks were telling me that my post was inspirational enough to them
that they wanted to add these toppers to their RV. Thanks for the great product and for the price match that you guys guarantee!!
Please feel free to share my pics on etrailer.com and my review as well.
Ship time and prices were great.
Received and have awning rail and mounting brackets installed.
Just waiting on son to help slide the awning in the rail and slip the bars into the brackets..
The installation video on etrailer web site is a great help.
Just as advertised, easy to install. Fast shipping and the discounted price for a few missing screws and a couple of scratches that were easily repainted, well worth it.

I don't have the trailer anymore
The over all product is very good and was easy to install. I am disappointed to the size of the topper. I followed the suggested sizing process and what I received was a topper that was not as wide as it should of been.
My slide is 91" wide I added 5" to that which made it 96" I divided that by 12" which equals 8'. After I had installed the topper I found out the the topper material only measured 91" just over 7.5' wide. It just covers the slide with not overhang which is suggested. I called customer service and was told that the tube is where the length is measured from. My tube was only 94.5" still short of the 8' ordered. Customer service refunded me 5%. Just be aware that 8' topper does not mean 8'. I believe this is a issue with the manufacture. I would of returned it but I have to many holes drilled in my RV for the instillation. Measure before installing would be my advice.
Great company to deal with. Natalie was very helpful in making sure I got the right size product. The product was shipped right away with free shipping and arrived when they said it would. My installer said the product was of great quality and I am very happy with the way it looks on my motor home. If I need any other parts that etrailer handles,I will definitely deal with them!
Product arrived in excellent shape and appears to be as advertised. Only problem is your packaging when I lifted the container tube the package of brackets fell out how this did not get lost in shipping is a wonder. You need to seal with at least packaging tape the ends of the tube only makes sense
Paula at etrailer has been great to work with. Placed my order and was delivered mush sooner thzn I exptected. Instructions need to be updated. The figure numbers referenced in the text do not match the atual figures but that is on the manufacturer not etrailer. I was able to figure it out ok. Was pretty easy to install and looks nice on my motorhome. Seems to work well but have not used it other than to test it.
This is a very good product and helped keep the coach a bit cooler in the Texas heat. We sold the coach in the fall of 2019 so we cannot give a one-year follow-up evaluation.
The awning was easy to install. It looks very good on the slide out and should help to eliminate any debris from accumulating on the top.
I Fond Installation went easy.
Easy to install and work great with our slides. Keeps the temps down inside during hot weather, which we have had plenty so far this summer.
Don't know honestly package it came it looked like it was driven over by a Mack truck. The rail was damaged so I can't use it .
Very good product, fair price, fast shipping! Very easy to install.
