Today we're going to take a look at the replacement UTV power V XT trip spring for boss snow plow. And this is going to replace that spring for your boss snow plow. This is going to work for, again UTV Power V or XT applications. This is made of a nice, durable steel with a heavy duty rubberized coating on it, to help prevent any rust or corrosion. Now as far as the measurements for this overall it's going to be about 12 inches long. From the outermost edge to outermost edge of the spring, the outside edge of that hook there on either end it's going to be about 12 inches.
The spring itself is going to be more like 8.5 inches.The hooks are going to have an opening of about a half inch, or three eights of an inch. The inside diameter is going to be about in inch. So I have about an inch of space in there to hook that on to. And the width of the spring is going to be about one and three quarters of an inch in diameter. The seal is going to be ...

- What Are Dimensions of Replacement - UTV/Power-V/XT Trip Spring # 3371304717The coils of the spring part # 3371304717 are .375 inch in diameter, the coiled section measures 8.5 inches long, and from outside edge of hook to outside edge of hook measures 12 inches. If you could get me the plow model that you have I can see if there's an exact replacement you need. I attached a review video as well as a link to a page that has all of the springs we carry.

view full answer... - What Size Trip Spring & How Many Do I Need For My Snow Plow?Look on the back of your snow plow and there should be some holes in the venter of the plow on the back end. If there are 4 holes, you just need 4 springs. In regards to size, you just want to make sure that the springs aren't too long when your blade is adjusted properly. Typically 12" springs # 3371304717 are a good size for most plows. This one has an overall length of 12", without hooks it's 8-1/2" and the coil diameter 1-3/4". Adjust your plow to bring the two holes as close as needed...
