Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at the Jensen 30-watt heavy-duty outdoor mini speakers for a quantity of two. These are nice, heavy-duty mini speakers, which are weatherproof for outdoor mounting, so they're ideal for mounting on your ATV, your UTV or even your farm equipment. They are a nice, durable plastic construction, which is UV-resistant, corrosion-resistant. It does meet the salt spray exposure standard compliant and a UV exposure standard compliant.
It does use a 3-1/2-inch size woofer and an independent tweeter right down here.You can see they are a nice black cover and it does give you several mounting options to make it easy to put these speakers where you need them. You can use them as a bracket mount. Right now, they have the brackets installed. They are adjustable, so if you just loosen the sides there, it'll allow you to adjust it with the bracket being mounted where you need be. You can remove the bracket and make it a surface mount.
Basically, you can take this housing and install it to the surface without the brackets installed on it, or you can do a flush mount. Basically, you can unscrew this speaker, take it out of the housing, and then put it into a four-and-a-quarter-inch diameter hole.As you see, all this is included. The wiring and the mounting hardware is all included. Again, this is for a quantity of two speakers. Give you a few dimensions on the speaker, and we're going to measure with the brackets installed, so the overall width from all of this knob all the way to this knob is going to be right at 5-5/8ths inches.
The overall height from the bottom to the very top is right at five inches tall, and the total depth from the front to the back widest part is right at three inches deep. We had mentioned that if you take the speaker out and use it as a flush mount, the cutout dimension would be 4-1/4-inch diameter.Again, maximum wattage on these speakers is 30 watts. The impedance is 4 ohms. Sensitivity is 85 decibels. Frequency response, 80 Hertz to 20 kilohertz, and the magnet weight on these speakers is about two ounces.

Have a 1994 fleetwood mallard travel trailer with two speakers that were original and blown, bought these for less then 30$ they are rv speakers so they don’t pull a lot of power, and they sound really really good for the price and it’s perfect for camping, if ur not expecting something super flashy this is for u it’s not overpriced and it’s definitely worth the money, sounds clear and there’s more bass than I expected, better than expected, will buy more of these when I’m ready, especially helps that these are the only 5 3/4 speakers I can find for RVs!

Advertised as a JENSEN speaker. But you will get an ASA speaker. Their claim is it’s the same company. I get that. They own each other. But they (ASA-JENSEN) also still manufacture JENSEN branded speakers and ASA branded speakers. So why don’t they advertise as an "ASA Heavy Duty Outdoor Speakers - Recessed Mount - 5-3/4" Diameter - 24 Watts - Qty 2" then?
Volkswagen and Porsche. If advertised a Porsche and you buy the Porsche and you get a Volkswagen, ANYONE would be upset.
Staff is horrible and will not work with you for a simple return. Carol C. passed me to Paula T. Paula sent one message basically telling me to keep them and this is why. The process was similar to that phrase about pulling teeth. I WAS going to buy other speakers from them.
Not only this, but they gave me an order confirmation of arrival for next week. I was fine with that, until I checked status. The status said next month. I got on chat and Victoria H. told me "please be more patient".
My ordering is done here and I will be letting all my RV Community know about this.
If you feel like ordering, know that it will not be easy to make a return.

I purchased a plastic version of these outdoor speakers (I believe a different brand) a year ago. The speaker fidelity was/is fine, but the housings cracked and pretty much disintegrated for reasons I can't explain. (The ones I replaced were six years old but still intact; just sounded bad.) These metal units are lower profile and sound great, so I'm quite satisfied.
