There's a single-function button here that will give you on, off and even a trickle shut off. It is a rubbed bronze color. The flow rate on this is 2.5 gallons per minute. Good replacement for our trailer's original showerhead. Spray is better than the one that came with the trailer, although not as good as a home model. It does the job!

I contacted the manufacturer about the issues that you are having with this shower head and their response is that the hand shower is equipped with a trickle shut off but it does not have a positive shut off per the plumbing requirement to prevent cold shock. The only suggestion would be to add a flow controller like Item # PF276030 but unfortunately, we only have it in chrome.

Just traded for a new RV. Shower head in the other RV was still working great. It was much better than the one that came in the RV originally. Water pressure was very good and I would buy another if needed.
